Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

118. Just hold me.

Rachel sat at the Lima bean feeling overwhelmed, upset and distant. She couldn't believe what she had just done, what Jesse had made her do, even though he broke up with her after what he made her do. She was on the verge of tears thinking about what she had did. She didn't want to do that, she hated herself even more even if it wasn't her fault at all.

She sat there holding her cup tight looking into her cup, thinking about what could have been. As she sat there she saw out the corner of her eye a plate with a gold star cupcake on it. She looked at it, and didn't feel like eating it, she quickly assumed it was Jesse wanting her back that placed it there, and as she looked up she saw Sebastian sitting across from her, and he had a look of concern written all over his face. All Rachel did was cry.

Sebastian stood up, picked up Rachel and held her in his arms as he sat down in the seat where Rachel had once sat. Sebastian held her tight and close to him as she cried, and as she stopped Sebastian carefully lifted his hand, wiped away her tears and said

"It will be okay Broadway." Rachel didn't believe him but still sat on his lap. Sebastian concerned for the girl said

"You want to get out of here Streisand, we can go to my dorm and we can watch funny girl together and have vegan pizza. But only if you want to." Rachel thought about it, she did want to get away, she gave him a small but sad smile and said

"That sounds like fun Sebastian." Sebastian carefully lifted Rachel up, took her by the hand and walked out of the Lima bean to his and drove to Dalton.

Rachel was grateful for Sebastian and was even more grateful that Sebastian didn't ask any questions at all. They sat in comfortable silence watching funny girl and eating pizza, when Rachel still felt uneasy about what had happened earlier that day. She subtly placed her hand on her stomach thinking about what had happened and what could have been, which didn't go unnoticed to Sebastian.

Sebastian paused funny girl, and wrapped his arms around Rachel once more. Rachel cried and softly spoke as she lifted her head to look at him

"Do you want to know what's wrong Sebastian?" Sebastian wiped her tears away once more and said

"Only if you're comfortable with telling me." Rachel was hesitant at first, and then softly spoke

"I was pregnant to Jesse." Sebastian was shocked at what Rachel had said, and she continued

"And I told him straight away, I thought he would be happy about it you know. But I was wrong, so very wrong." Sebastian placed some hair behind Rachel's ear and said

"What happened pretty girl, what did he do?" Rachel began to cry again and said

"H-he made me get rid of it Sebastian. And after he made me do that, he broke up with me." Sebastian was shocked at what she had just told him. Sebastian couldn't believe what Jesse had done. Sebastian, stood up, walked to his door and locked it, then walked to his drawers and handed Rachel his lacrosse jersey, hoodie and track pants. At first Rachel was confused and said

"What are you doing and why do I have these Sebastian?" Sebastian looked at her and said

"You aren't going home, I can't leave you like this. I can't leave you alone in this state after what happened you can't be alone. And I don't think you would want the warblers questioning you at all. And besides we have more Barbra Streisand movies to watch." Rachel was shocked at what Sebastian had just said, but she was grateful that he wasn't leaving her alone. She stood up, walked to his bathroom and changed. When she walked out she sat next to Sebastian on his bed who looked at her and said

"Is there anything else I can do for you Rachel?" Rachel gave him a small smile and said

"Just hold me." Sebastian wrapped his arms around her safe and tight not letting go as they continued watching Funny Girl. And as the credits rolled through, Rachel softly spoke

"Why are you being so kind, I thought you hated me." Sebastian pulled her closer to him and said

"I could never hate you Pretty Girl. St James I hate, Hudson and Hummel and the rest of your glee club except Anderson I dislike, but you I could never hate you. It's quite the opposite of hate actually. I love you." Rachel sat up, looked at him shocked and surprised and said

"You love me?" Sebastian caressed her cheek and said

"How could I not, you're beautiful, talented, kind, and so much more." Rachel blushed and Sebastian continued

"But I know right now, it would make you uncomfortable. And I don't mind waiting still, because you Rachel Barbra Berry are worth the wait." Rachel kissed Sebastian's cheek and said

"Thank you for understanding Seb. Really it means." Sebastian could tell Rachel had something else on her mind and said

"What's on your mind, you can tell me anything Streisand." Rachel knew that she could. She sat crossed legged on his bed to look at him and said

"I keep thinking what could have been, if I didn't get rid of it." Sebastian reached for her hand, squeezed it and said

"You didn't get rid of it, he did. And also it's okay to wonder about it. And I honestly think your baby would have been a girl. And she would have been exactly like you. Beautiful, talented, kind, and everything that you are, even down to the diva storm outs." As he said that Rachel giggled which caused Sebastian to smile and she said

"You really think she would have had the storm outs?" Sebastian chuckled and said

"She totally would have." Rachel smiled at him and said

"Thank you Sebastian." Sebastian lifted up Rachel's hand to his lips, kissed it and said

"Anytime Rach." Rachel smiled at him, and moved to cuddle Sebastian as they watch more Barbra Streisand movies together.

After a few months Rachel and Sebastian started dating, and when they reached New York together Rachel fell pregnant once more. She was hesitant to tell Sebastian because of what happened in the past, but she knew she had to tell him. While she was preparing dinner, Sebastian walked in and wrapped his arms around her, which caused her to turn around after she turned off the stove. She wrapped her arms around his neck and said

"I have something I need to tell you. And I've been hesitant and scared to tell you." Sebastian kissed Rachel's temple and said the same thing he said to her in the past

"You can tell me anything Streisand." At those words Rachel relaxed a little and said

"I'm pregnant Sebastian. I'm pregnant with your child." Sebastian held and kissed Rachel. He held her tight and said

"Pretty Girl, I understand why you were hesitant and scared to tell me. I love you and always have, I know this is something person for you, and Rach you would be an amazing mum, and I can't wait to go on this journey with you." Rachel looked up at him and said

"You really mean that?" Sebastian kissed her temple and said

"Of course I do."

Nine months later Rachel gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Olivia Mae Smythe.
