114. Pros and Cons

Rachel was back in Ohio packing up boxes in Sebastian's old room at his parents place, as she and Sebastian were moving into a place of their own. They had finally gotten engaged after three years of being together. And Rachel can still remember how he asked her. As she opened his closet to clean it out, she heard her name. Rachel turned and smiled at her fiancé. Sebastian smiled widely at her and said

"I'm just going to put the heavy things in the car, so you don't hurt yourself on them." Rachel nodded her head in understanding and said

"Of course Seb, but please be careful with them, I don't want you hurt before our wedding." Sebastian nodded his head in silence, picked up on of the heavy boxes and carried them to the car. Rachel watched Sebastian leave his soon to be old room, and started overthinking his silence towards her, which made her believe and feel like Sebastian didn't want to marry her anymore. Rachel looked around the room and started to wonder what she was doing packing up his room if he didn't want to marry her. Rachel was beginning get mad at him, but she didn't show it at all.

Rachel turned to clean out Sebastian's closet, not letting the fact that Sebastian didn't want to marry her get to her and as she picked up some book, she found a folded piece of paper with her name on it. She placed the stack of books in the box she had prepared, picked up the piece of paper and read Pros and Cons of marrying Rachel. Rachel was shocked to think her Sebastian had a Pros and Cons list of marrying. Rachel decided that instead of talking to Sebastian about it, she would read it. She opened it up, and read the Pros list first as she couldn't bring herself to read the cons list yet. She  smiled a little as she read

Pros

Her chocolaty bambi eyes that I get lost in

Her butt

Her long legs

Her voice

Her contagious smile

Her laugh that is music to my ears

Her nose

Her brunette hair

Her kind heart

Her generosity

Her heart

Her kindness

The fact that she's mine

Her lips

Her kisses

Her singing voice

Rachel smiled as she read each one, and reread them over and over again. As she read them for the last time, she gulped and started to read the cons list to find that there was nothing written on there. Rachel felt silly for ever thinking Sebastian didn't want to marry her. She folded the paper up and placed it in the book box. After she did that, she picked up one of Sebastian's notebooks and started writing her own as to why she wants to marry Sebastian.

As she was writing she heard her name being called from her fiancé. Rachel looked up at him and said

"Yes Seb." Sebastian looked at his wife to be and said

"You okay Rachel, you seem distracted?" Rachel smiled at him widely and said

"I'm okay, I just really love you Sebby." Sebastian kissed Rachel's temple and said

"I really love you too. But come on, these boxes aren't going to pack themselves." Rachel giggled at Sebastian's sentence, stood up holding a box and carried it to the car. As Sebastian watched Rachel leave his room, he noticed one of his notebooks open. He picked it up and read Reasons why I want to Sebastian. As he read those words Sebastian knew instantly that Rachel had found his pros and cons list. Sebastian sighed and started to read what she wrote.

Reasons why I want to marry Sebastian

His mesmerising green eyes

His soft caring heart

The fact that I'm the only one that gets to see his soft side.

His safe arms.

His perfect smile

His heart

How safe I feel with him

How he lets me cuddle him

His singing voice

His voice

His laugh

The fact that I get to love him for the rest of my life

As he read her list he knew that he was being an idiot for ever thinking and doubting that Rachel didn't want to marry him. And in that moment he realised that he really loved her, and really wanted to marry her. Sebastian placed his notebook down, walked out of his room and walked down the stairs to where Rachel was and said

"Let's get married." Rachel looked at him confused and said

"But we are getting married, we are planning to get married." Sebastian took Rachel's hands in his, and said

"I mean right now, going to Vegas and eloping. it will be less stress on you from planning everything, and it will be something just for the both of us, and when we come back we can have a reception with our friends and family." Rachel thought about it and said

"What about packing up your room though Sebby?" Sebastian lifted Rachel's hands up to his lips kissed them, and said

"It will be here when we come back, it's not like it's going anywhere." Rachel thought about it more, smiled at him and said

"Then let's get married, it can be just for the two of us, and then one with our family and friends." Sebastian took Rachel's hand and lead to the car where he drove to Vegas for them to get married.

After they got married, Sebastian lead Rachel to their hotel room, and then said

"I'm glad we did this Rach, I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else, I love you." Rachel smiled at him and said

"I love you too, and I have to tell you something. I found your Pros and Cons list and read it." Sebastian was shocked at the revelation of something he knew, and he said

"I found your list of reasons why you want to marry me." Rachel was nervous about what he had said, he looked at him nervously and said

"What did you think of it?" Sebastian kissed her and said

"I loved it Streisand, just as much as I love you, and that's never going to change, so what did you think of my pros and cons list?" Rachel smiled at him and said

"I loved it, but I was shocked, surprised and happy that i didn't see anything on the cons list." Sebastian kissed her and said

"That's because I never really had any doubts about marrying you." Rachel kissed Sebastian passionately and full of love.

As Sebastian and Rachel shared their night in their hotel room in Vegas, Sebastian knew that he was right where he belongs and should have never doubted himself about marrying the love of his life, and doubting that Rachel didn't want to spend the rest of her life with him.
