59. Made too Pretty

Sebastian sat in his chair at the Lima Bean and watched on as Rachel Berry his dream girl was with another. He hated that Finn had her. He hated the way Finn treated her, and hated the way Finn got to look into Rachel's eyes all the damn time basically he hated Finn because he is dating Rachel. Sebastian sighed in frustrated at the couple, which caught the attention of Thad. Thad looked at his best friend and then the direction of where he is looking. He too sighed and said to Sebastian

"Smythe, I don't even think they are a couple." Sebastian ignored Thad, and watched the love of his life with another, it angered him even more when Finn ignored Rachel for Quinn. Thad nudged Sebastian and said

"Told you. Go talk to her, instead of being here and watching her like a stalker." Sebastian shook his head at Thad and said

"Believe me Thad, Rachel and Hudson are together." He watched on as Finn left with Quinn, but he saw Rachel stand up and he heard her say

"Finn you could have said bye, I am your girlfriend." Sebastian put his head on the table and mumbled

"Told you Thad." Thad shook his head at his best friend, as Sebastian lifted his head once more and watched Rachel and Finn hug, and him kiss her cheek then leave with Quinn. Thad nudged him and said

"Now go talk to her, instead of sitting here being a creeper and watching her from afar, she looks like she could use someone to talk to." Sebastian glared at his friend as he stood up and walked over. He sat across from her and said

"What's wrong Rach?" Rachel looked at him and said

"Do you think Finn loves me, he keeps blowing me off for Quinn." Sebastian hated how Finn made Rachel feel. Sebastian looked at Rachel and said

"how could anyone not love you. You are smart, funny, talented, driven, determined, unique, and perfect." Rachel was shocked at hearing those words from Sebastian Smythe himself, and he continued

"And if he doesn't, Thad and I will kick his butt." Rachel gave a small smile and said

"My heroes." Sebastian smiled at Rachel and admired her for who she is up close instead of staring at her from afar like he normally does. Rachel stayed there talking to Sebastian before leaving to go home. As Rachel sat there with there with Sebastian, she saw Finn with Quinn, laughing and talking. It pained Rachel to see it, and it was even more heartbreaking for her when she saw him walking Quinn out and placing his letterman jacket on her.

She watched on silently, she didn't want to think about Quinn and Finn, she prayed nothing was going on, but she knew deep down something was. As she sat there, Sebastian noticed her silence, and he said

"Let me take you home." Rachel stayed silent, she knew she shouldn't, but if Finn left with Quinn, then why shouldn't she leave with Sebastian. Rachel gave him a small smile and said

"Sure." Sebastian, stood up, helped Rachel, placed his blazer on her, and said

"It's cold outside, don't want you getting sick before regionals." Rachel followed Sebastian to his car, and as he got in, she sighed and said

"Why are you being nice to me, I thought you hated me?" Sebastian quickly glanced at Rachel then diverted his eyes to the road and said

"I'm being nice to you because I care about you, and I always have cared about you, and I never said I hated you." As he said that, he wanted to add on that he hated Finn, but he didn't want her upset with him, Rachel was silent as Sebastian parked outside his her house. Sebastian walked Rachel to her door and said

"Don't cry over him, he doesn't deserve your tears." Rachel was grateful for Sebastian, gave him his blazer back and walked inside, as Sebastian left, Rachel walked to the living room and then heard a knock on the door. She was confused as Sebastian on,y just left, she opened the door and saw Finn. She smiled and let him in. She followed him to her living room and then he said

"Rachel, this isn't working."Rachel was shocked and upset, and said

"What do you mean?" Rachel watched Finn kneel in front of her and he said

"I've never loved you, us dating it will never work." As he said those words, Rachel stared into his eyes and said

"You're breaking up with me?" Rachel looked down as Finn kissed her cheek and said

"Goodbye Rachel." Rachel waited for him to leave and cried. Rachel knew Finn would be with Quinn. Rachel cried, pulled her phone and called Sebastian. Sebastian walked into Dalton as his phone rang, he looked at the caller ID and saw it was Rachel. He smiled and said

"Rach." His smile soon left when he heard her crying and wanted him to go over to her. They hung up, and he then turned around and walked back to his car to go to her. When he arrived he knocked softly, she wiped her tears and answered the door, she let Sebastian inside and he said

"Rach, what's wrong?" Rachel closed the door, and then hugged Sebastian. Sebastian then knew it was because of Finn. Sebastian hugged her tightly and said

"What did he do?" Rachel started crying again and said

"He and I broke up." Sebastian was mad that Finn hurt her. He wanted to hurt him for hurting Rachel. She hugged him tight and said

"Stay here with me please." Sebastian relaxed under her touch and said

"Always." Sebastian pulled apart the hug, took her hand and lead her up the stairs to her room wear he took off his blazer, tie and shoes and held her in his arms.

Rachel didn't know how long or how many days it had been since the break up, but she picked herself up, and went on with her life. She walked into school, and she will admit it did hurt seeing Finn with Quinn, and as she walked into she saw Sebastian at her locker, and she said

"What are you doing here?" Sebastian smiled and said

"I go to school here now." It was then Rachel saw that he wasn't in his dalton uniform. She smiled brightly at him, and Sebastian said

"There's that bright smile again." Sebastian hugged her and when they pulled apart, Sebastian caressed her cheek and said

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Rachel smiled up at him and said

"Yes I would love to." Sebastian smiled widely at the girl and kissed her. He knew in his heart that Rachel was his, that she was his soulmate, and he wasn't letting her go.
