31. Change of Heart

A/N: This one shot is a preview for my new story The Bad Boy Bet, which will be posted after I finish Pretending which is almost finished like Puzzle Piece... Also this one shot is basically him admitting that he loves Rachel, and proving that Thad was right

Sebastian was in The Lima Bean drinking his coffee, and thinking about her. He doesn't know when it happened, or how it happened. He's fallen in love, and not with anyone from Crawford either, but from McKinley, which annoys his dad even more.

He has fallen in love with Rachel but for him it was love at first sight, and that was before the stupid bet with Hunter, and before the Dalton Dance as well. He lost the bet to Hunter. He couldn't tell his best friend about it, because he would say "I told you so." Sebastian was confused about it himself. He has never felt this way before, he liked it and hated it at the same time.

He didn't know what to do about these new found feelings, he knew he has liked her for a long time, even before the bet was made. He knew what he had to do. He got up from his chair after finishing his coffee, and left the Lima Bean to go to McKinley High school to see her. He walked into the school, and walked to buy a slushie. He was nervous because he fears she won't accept it given his past actions with a slushie and Blaine, or maybe it was Kurt or Finn, or maybe even Hunter because of a stupid bet.

After he brought the slushie, he didn't put anything there at all, and even put a straw in the drink. He walked all over McKinley trying to find Rachel. He turned one corner and heard beautiful, mesmerising, incredible and breathtaking singing.

He followed the voice, and then stopped when he found it. Sebastian stood in the doorway of the choir room at McKinley, and just watched her sing so heavenly, and as she was singing he remembered why he fell in love with her when he first saw her, and why he became the player he was before.

He knew deep down that he would never have a chance with her, so to take away the pain from his heart knowing that she would never take him, he started breaking girls hearts, mainly for pure enjoyment, and then it became a regular thing for him, he was having fun, and it became his thing. He continued watching her sing, and then as she finished he knocked on the door, Rachel turned and saw the guy that she fell in love with the moment she saw him.

She smiled and said

"Sebastian what are you doing here?" As she said that, Sebastian was pleased that she actually spoke to him, and he said

"I came to give you this." He handed her the slushie and she looked at him. He smiled at her and said

"It's rock salt free, and its grape flavour." She smiled and said

"How did you know?" Sebastian put his hands in his pockets and said

"When I threw a rock salt free grape flavoured slushie at you two weeks ago, I saw you lick your lips as you were wiping the liquid off yourself." Rachel was surprised that Sebastian remembered that. She was even more surprised that he was talking to her. Rachel stared at Sebastian and said

"That's good to know that you remembered." Sebastian smirked, and she continued

"What's your deal anyway Sebastian?" He was shocked at the question, and he said

"What do you mean?" Rachel put the drink down and said

"You break girls hearts like they are nothing, and then all of a sudden three months ago your best friend tells you to talk to me, why is that Sebastian, am I another conquest, am I another one of the girl's hearts you are going to break like it's nothing." Sebastian was shocked, at the revelation that it was Hunter that made him talk to her. Sebastian sighed and said

"That's not it Rachel, you know I have a change of heart." Rachel shook her head at what she heard and she said

"I don't believe it Sebastian, because breaking girls hearts is your thing, you don't have a heart, you don't have a soft spot for any girl." Sebastian sat down on the chair and said

"Rachel, the last part is a lie." Rachel looked at him and said

"So I'm not annoying, loud, Barbra obsessed, sarcastic, sassy, Broadway, motivated, determined, and will do anything to get what I want?" Sebastian was speechless, and Rachel sighed and said

"I'm right, I'm still am those things to you, aren't I?" Sebastian didn't say anything, and Rachel then turned and walked away, and Sebastian then followed her and said

"Rachel, wait." Rachel stopped, turned and said

"I have nothing to say to you."As she said that, Sebastian said

"And that's why you will listen to what I have to say." Rachel folded her arms and said

"I'm listening, you have 1 minute." Sebastian looked at her and said

"Yes to me you are those things, but guess what I'm those exact same things as you, every single person hates that I hurt girls, but you want to know something Rachel." Rachel continued to stare at Sebastian and listen intently and he continued

"Hunter knows different, I made a stupid bet with him, and no you were meant to be involved with it." Rachel was shocked and said

"What?" Sebastian ran a hand through his hair and he continued

"Hunter and I made a bet a month a go, because he was sick of me breaking girls hearts, he told me that I will fall in love with a girl before the Dalton Dance in December." Rachel was even more shocked, and Sebastian then said

"And guess what, he was right, I fell in love with a girl before the Dalton Dance in December, I fell in love with her a month ago when I first met her, and is the reason why I broke all those girls hearts, and is the only girl that I will ever have a soft spot for, and the reason I don't have a heart, is because the girl I love has it." As Sebastian said that, Rachel was speechless, and Sebastian said

"It's you, It's always been you." As he said that, Rachel said

"I hate you." Sebastian looked at her and said

"I hate you too." Rachel then said

"Do you want to kiss me as much as I want to kiss you?" Sebastian walked up to her pulled her close and said

"I'm surprised someone as smart and talented as you, has to ask." Sebastian then kissed her, and when they pulled apart, they stared at each other for a long period of time and Rachel said

"You really have got a change of heart."
