Sebastian stared at Rachel, and waited for her to either stay or leave. Rachel looked at him, caressed his cheek and said
"What I do want to know is, how?"Sebastian looked at her and said
"Well, you know how I sneak off from Dalton?" Rachel nodded her head yes, and Sebastian continued telling his story to Rachel
"One night, I had climbed out of my window, it was raining, well more like pouring, it was thunderstorms, lighting, and it was basically hail. I climbed out of my window, and I climbed on the roof of Dalton, it was dark, and cold, and I was about to go back inside, but as I did I slipped on the roof, and fell and as I fell to the ground, I was struck by lighting, woke up 9 months later in the hospital, and next thing I know, I can run at the speed of light." When Sebastian finished telling his story of how he got super speed, he turned to Rachel, who stared at him in shock, and she said
"Who else knows?" Sebastian looked at her and said
"Thad and Blaine." Rachel was shocked at the revelation, but Sebastian said
"They only know about the speed, but not how I got them." When Sebastian said that, Rachel walked away, and that was the one that Sebastian had feared the most, was her walking away from him. He cursed himself for telling her, and that he should have listened to Blaine instead of Thad. He watched Rachel walk away, he didn't dare to follow her in case he made everything worse. He feared that Rachel saw him as a freak than anything. He ran back to Dalton, and back to his dorm, and he laid there upset, when Thad walked in, and he said
"You okay." Sebastian shook his head no, and Thad said
"Want to talk about it?" Sebastian sighed, sat up on his bed and said
"I told Rachel." Thad looked at him surprised, and said
"That you love her, or about your super speed?" Sebastian looked at him and said
"Both." Thad went wide eyed and said
"And... What did she say?" Sebastian sighed in frustration and said
"Turns out she loves me back." Thad was thrilled and said
"That's great Sebastian." Sebastian shook his head no and said
"It's not Thad, because when I told her about my super speed, she basically freaked out and walked away from me." When Sebastian told Thad what had happened, Thad hugged Sebastian from the side and then left. Thad had a plan to meet with Rachel the next day. But what he and Sebastian didn't know was the only reason Rachel had left, wasn't because she freaked out, or because she didn't accept him, truth is Rachel is still well and truly in love with Sebastian, it's just her dad's had a strict curfew for her, and she didn't want to be grounded until she was allowed to go to New York.
When the morning had came, Rachel wasn't going to school, she was going to Dalton to clear the unspoken air she had with Sebastian. When she walked into the school, she saw Thad about to leave, when Thad saw her and walked up to her, and before she could ask where Sebastian was, Thad said
"How could you Rachel?" Rachel was about to answer and he continued
"Just how, you broke his heart." Rachel looked at Thad and said
"Thad Harwood." Thad looked at Rachel and she said
"I didn't walk away because I thought he was some freak, I had to because I was on a strict curfew from my dads, and I didn't want to be grounded until I was allowed to leave for New York." Thad looked at Rachel and said
"So you didn't walk away because he was a freak?" Rachel shook her head no and said
"No I didn't, I love Sebastian, and I do accept him, I accept everything about him." Thad was pleased with her answer, because he hugged her, and said
"Thank goodness, I thought I would have to give you a lecture on why you should love Sebastian." They pulled apart and Rachel said
"Yeah thank goodness for that." Thad hugged Rachel again, and when they pulled apart again Rachel looked at him and said
"Where is Sebastian? I figured I should talk to him." Thad nodded his head and said
"He is in his dorm." Rachel nodded her head and said
"Could you show me where it is?" Thad then took Rachel by her arm gently and lead her towards the dorm rooms. They walked passed many Dalton students even Trent. They came to a stop, and Thad looked to Rachel and said
"I knew you would accept him, pity Blaine didn't see it." When Thad said that, Rachel looked at him confused and said
"Wait, Blaine didn't think I would accept Sebastian?" Thad looked at her and said
"Yeah, we had many arguments about it, and I was right, and I wonder how Blaine must feel knowing that he doesn't know his best friend at all." Thad then walked away, leaving a very confused Rachel outside Sebastian's door. Rachel shook her head to the realisation that she is outside Sebastian's dorm room. She lifted her hand and knocked on his door.
A few seconds later, the opened, and Sebastian saw the one person he least expected to see. He was surprised that Rachel was here at Dalton, outside his dorm, and he said
"Rach what are you doing here?" Rachel looked at Sebastian and said
"To talk to you about everything, about what happened last night." Sebastian was shocked, and said
"You walked away." Sebastian was about to close the door, and Rachel said
"I didn't want to, I had to." Sebastian then opened the door, and lead her inside his dorm. He closed the door, turned to Rachel and said
"What did you mean you had to?" Rachel sat on his bed and said
"I had a curfew set by my strict dads, and I had to obey it otherwise I would have been grounded until I was allowed to leave for New York." Sebastian mentally sighed a relief, and said
"You don't find me a freak?" Rachel shook her head no, and said
"Sebastian, I love you, I have loved you way before I knew you had super speed, and that is not going to change at all, it won't change the fact that I love you, I'm deeply in love with you." Sebastian was please, he sat down next to her on his bed and he kissed her. They pulled apart, and Sebastian said
"I love you too Rachel, and I'm deeply in love with you." When Sebastian said that, he picked up Rachel, and ran with her at super speed to the top of Dalton, and just watched the clouds as the day went on. Rachel turned to Sebastian and said
"I could never leave you Seb." Sebastian smiled, kissed her forehead and said
"I could never leave you either Rach."
