Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

48. He came back

A/N: this is a part 2 of my glee one shot Sebastian hits Brody.

Sebastian left Brody's apartment building and took a cab to Rachel's loft. Like always he thought about Rachel, and how he made the mistake of leaving her with their daughter. Rachel is the love of his life, he knew that and he left her, but this time he thought of how she never changed her last name from Smythe, and how she didn't change their daughter's last name.

The cab pulled outside the loft building, he paid the driver, got out and walked up the stairs in the building, used the key and opened the door, and saw his daughter smiling up at him. His daughter ran to him and hugged him tight. It was then that Rachel turned and saw the handsome man that has had her heart since junior year and not doing anything about it until senior year. Sebastian picked up his daughter, kissed her forehead, walked over to Rachel, lifted his free hand to her cheek and caressed it

"I should have never let you go, I should have never walked away." Rachel cried tears of joy, as she knew he would be back, no one except Skylar believed her not even her sister believed her. She knew he would be back, in her heart she knew. Rachel took their daughter out of his arms, placed her on the ground and hugged him tight.

"I knew you would come back and only Skylar believed me that you would." Sebastian hugged her tight like he did when he first held her in his arms. They pulled apart slightly, so Sebastian could wipe away her tears, and Rachel saw his bruised hand.

"What did you do to your hand?" Sebastian looked down at his daughter smiling, and then smiled at the love of his life.

"I saved you and my little princess, like always." Rachel looked into his piercing green eyes full of love.

"You punched him didn't you, because of Santana's blabber mouth." Sebastian chuckled and said

"You always did have a way of not telling me things when you should have." Rachel smiled and kissed him, and hugged him again.

"I know, but I do tell you in the end, and you end up making things better." Sebastian sighed contently and held her as he knew she would have told him, their daughter smiled at them, and hugged them both happy that their parents are back together and that her dad saved them like he always did.

"Santana told me something interesting." Rachel pulled apart slightly looked at him curiously and said

"What did she tell you?" Sebastian picked up his daughter again, smiled at them both and said

"She told me that my girls never changed their last name from Smythe." Rachel looked at him and said

"I couldn't, because I didn't want little Elizabeth Marie to forget you and stop loving you and I knew you would come back." At those words Sebastian kissed her and whispered against her lips.

"I was always going to comeback, and like I have always told you, no girl holds a candle to you, and no one comes even close to you, and daughter is our perfect princess." Rachel smiled

"I know, you always tell me and I believe you everytime, and Skylar was the only one that believed me that you would comeback." Sebastian looked at Rachel and then heard

"It's true Daddy, she always knew, and only uncle Sky believed her, not even uncle Blaine or aunt Marley believed her." Sebastian smiled at his daughter and said

"That's because I was always going to back to you and your mum, and your uncle Skylar would have known that also." he then looks at Rachel and smiles even wider

"because your mum is everything to me, and besides your uncles and aunts, she's the main one that has always believed in me, even if I did make that one mistake in leaving her." He then looks back at his daughter and said

"And you my little princess are everything to me as well, and I will always protect you and your mum." His daughter then hugged him tight,

"Like you saved and protected mommy all those years ago." Sebastian smiled as he hugged her back, and said

"Exactly like that." Rachel looked at them, smiled, at him and said

"Sky always knew that you would comeback because he knew that you always love me, and you would always come back home." Sebastian, caressed Rachel's cheek, and lightly stroked it and said

"Always, you are my home, and so is Elizabeth, we should get her to bed, you and I have some catching up to do." Rachel agreed, as they put their daughter to bed, and kissed her forehead as she fell asleep, and walked out of their daughter's room. Sebastian kissed Rachel, and then hugged her tight

"I'm sorry I left you, I should have stayed." Rachel hugged him back tight, sighed in content at having him back in her arms and said

"It's okay, we were fighting, and I made the mistake of letting him into our lives when I still love you." Sebastian smiled into Rachel's hair

"I will always love you Rach." Rachel smiled into his chest

"I know, because you have always saved me and protected me." Sebastian pulled apart the hug slightly, lifted his hand to her chin so she could look at him and said

"Always, even if I did take forever in asking you out." Rachel giggled as she thought back to their constant near misses, but ended up getting together in the end. They stared at each other contently savouring the moment, making up for the time they had lost through being apart, until they heard

"Told you he would come back, pay up all of you." They turned and saw their friends and family giving Skylar money. Sebastian and Rachel laughed and what was happening, and Sebastian said

"Must everything we do become a bet between the whole group?" They looked at each other and then at Sebastian and Rachel and said

"Yeah."
