135. Long Time No See Broadway- part 2

Skylar was shocked that his parents knew each other already. He looked between them and said

"You two already know each other?" Rachel looked at Skylar and said

"He and I used to be show choir rivals. He for the warblers and me for the New Directions before i went to Crawford because of the bullying that happened to me." Sebastian looked at Skylar and continued with what Rachel was saying.

"And we were both captains." Skylar couldn't believe it. He couldn't believe what was happening when all of sudden he didn't feel well.

Rachel looked at Skylar concerned when she saw him looking pale and said

"Sky, why don't you go lie down, and rest and I'll bring you some water, aspirin and maybe something to eat and if you still don't feel well. I ring the doctors for you." Rachel slowly helped Skylar to the sofa and laid him down. She walked into the kitchen with Sebastian following and said

"I hope he's going to be okay. But since Skylar is resting, how are you exactly and tell me the truth and not the short version so you don't worry your son." Rachel prepared Skylar's favourite vegan soup and said

"I don't know, I've had two divorces, but three break ups. Kurt isn't talking to me, Mercedes is loved up with Sam, and my dads don't support me or support that I went through sperm donor to have a child. The only income I have is from McKinley as a music teacher and even from Noah who now owns a successful pool cleaning business. He helps me with grocery shopping and even some bills. It's hard being alone and not have much to no support." Sebastian hugged Rachel tight and said

"You aren't alone. You have Skylar. And since your dad's don't support you, it means you are free from their controlling ways and able to raise Skylar how you want to and have no influence from anyone not even from your dads." Rachel knew Sebastian was right and said

"You're right. But anyway what are you doing here. I know its not just a random visit for you Smythe." Sebastian leaned on her kitchen as she was preparing Skylar's soup and said

"Strangest thing, your son sought me out and invited me over." Rachel looked over at her son and then at Sebastian and said

"Skylar sought you out and invited you here. How and why." Sebastian softly chuckled and said

"Well would you believe it if I said that you carried my son Skylar." Rachel stopped what she was doing and said

"What. What do you mean?" Sebastian took out the piece of paper that Skylar gave to him, showed Rachel and said

"I mean this. You carried my son." As Sebastian said that, and as Rachel looked at the paper. Skylar softly spoke from where he was lying down

"I got a DNA test. I hope you aren't mad mum." Rachel looked at the paper and she did always wonder who Skylar's father was. She then looked up from the paper and then at Skylar and said

"I'm not mad Sky. But if you told me, I would have understood Sky, and you know that since I was brought in the world through surrogacy." Skylar knew and understood that, he just didn't want to worry Rachel and have her hurt. He wanted to protect her. Skylar slowly stood up and walked over to her and said

"I know that, but I also know how much pain you felt when Shelby didn't want to be in your life. And I also know how much pain you felt when Jesse hurt us both, especially me and when Finn cheated on you with Quinn. You think I didn't hear you cry yourself to sleep every night. I wanted to protect you mum. At least with me finding out on my own, it saved you from getting hurt again." Hearing Skylar's words, Rachel knew that she was raising her son right, that that has a caring and loving son. Rachel hugged Skylar and said

"It's okay Sky. I understand. But it's not just you to find out. It's You and me together." Skylar hugged her tight and then let go, walking to his room. Sebastian gave Rachel a small smile and said

"He's a good kid Broadway. You're rasing him right." Rachel smiled back at Sebastian and said

"Thank you Sebastian, it means a lot." Sebastian looked curiously at Rachel and said

"Can I ask. What did Jesse do to Skylar?" Rachel now knowing that Sebastian is Skylar's father he had a right to know and said

"You aren't going to exactly like it. At first Skylar and Jesse didn't tell me and Skylar denied it and was scared to talk to me in Fear he would ruin my happiness but Skylar is my main priority and will always come first for me. But when I walked in from work one day and saw and heard everything I divorced Jesse straight away, and it was actually Nick that helped me with it." Sebastian sternly said

"Tell me." Rachel sighed and said

"Jesse used to hurt Skylar and yell at him blaming him for me not being on Broadway anymore. When I saw Skylar's bruises he denied it and said they came from playing lacrosse. And then one day I came home from work and as I walked in I saw Jesse put his hands on Skylar and heard him yell at him. I immediately pulled Jesse off him and kicked him out and hugged Skylar protectively and I also divorced Jesse and got a restraining order against to make sure he wasn't going anywhere near Skylar and I. Nicky helped me with it." Sebastian was angry that someone put his hands on his hand. Sebastian was even angrier that someone well two people were in his spot to father Skylar and said

"I'm not having anyone take my spot in being Skylar's dad. I can't help but think that you unknowingly chose me for a reason Streisand." Rachel couldn't believe what she was hearing and Sebastian continued

"You know I had a crush on you in highschool. I still do." Rachel didn't know what to say, and Sebastian then placed his lips on Rachel's and softly said

"Let me be apart of yours and Skylar's life. Let me be his dad Rachel." Rachel smiled up at him and said

"Okay." Sebastian smiled widely and kissed her again.

And six months later Sebastian with the help of Skylar had proposed to Skylar, and even though Rachel couldn't conceive a child naturally, Sebastian was more than supportive of her going through donors again and coincidentally Sebastian was once again Rachel's choice and this time they had a baby girl who they named Odette Maria, and Skylar was a doting protective big brother to her.
