When Sebastian Smythe graduated from Dalton, he applied for NYU, and was successful after being reject for NYADA. He moved to New York to escape his father who is a state attorney, and was never home, while he was at Dalton he hoped with everything that he had done such as Blackmailing, tormenting, harassing and bullying would get the attention he craved so much from his father. But it didn't, he even pretended to be gay but in reality he did love a girl. A certain girl who was a Diva and was the only person who could put him back in his spot.
But despite everything he done, he lost all hope and chances to be with her, because of his actions to gain attention from the one person that didn't give it to him, and the fact that he told everyone that he was gay up until he graduated from Dalton and left for New York leaving Ohio behind. Sebastian knew that he would miss his mum more than anything.
After he graduated all his friends were going to do something with their lives like Skylar studying psychology at Harvard University and is going to chase after Marley, Nick and Jeff are going to Boston University together and studying the same degree because they can't keep away from each other, and Hunter he is going to Yale in hopes of becoming a professional therapist and win Quinn Fabray over. Sebastian thought about his friends and sighed sadly because he was going to miss them like crazy, except his best friend Thad because Thad is going to NYU with him and studying the same degree.
Sebastian and Thad were currently setting up their apartment, before going to class that afternoon. Once everything was in place, Thad looked at Sebastian and said
"Can you believe it, we are actually in college." Sebastian looked at Thad and said
"No, but what I can't believe is how we ended up sharing a room again." Thad shrugged his shoulders and then walked into his room, to get ready for class. Sebastian was right, he couldn't actually believe that he would share a room with Thad again, surely the landlord knew what he and Thad would actually get up to. Sebastian then shook his head at himself and thought, that they wouldn't considering the landlord didn't know who they were. Sebastian walked to his room, and grabbed his things, and walked out of the apartment with Thad.
When they walked out they bumped into Blaine on the stairs, and Thad said
"Blaine." Blaine stopped on the stairs, and saw Sebastian and Thad. Blaine waved at them, and walked up the stairs to them and Sebastian said
"Do you live this apartment building?" Blaine looked at Sebastian, and said
"I do with Kurt and another roommate." As Blaine said that, he looked at the time on his phone, and then said
"I have to go, I have to get ready for class at NYADA with Kurt." Blaine then left, leaving Sebastian and Thad, to continue walking down the stairs of the apartment building to go to class. They walked out of the building, and Sebastian then said
"I'll meet you in class, I'm going to get a coffee." Thad looked at him and said
"I know you're rich, but you don't need to spend all your money on coffee." Sebastian shrugged his shoulders and Thad then said
"Just get me a muffin to go with my coffee." Sebastian nodded his head at him and said
"Alright." Thad and Sebastian walked passed the coffee shop, and Sebastian made a detour in there, and stood in line to order. As he stood in line, he kept watching the time to make sure he wasn't going to miss his fist class. He made paid for his and Thad's coffees and muffins, after getting to the counter, he picked up the drinks and food, and was about to walk out of the coffee shop, when he bumped into someone and spilled their coffees on them. He was about to say when he heard
"Fuck, this was a new shirt too." Sebastian knew who the voice belonged to. He longed to hear that voice since he moved to New York. He hoped that he would bump into her, but didn't think he would spill coffee on her.
Rachel walked into the coffee shop before class at NYADA started, and was pissed when coffee was spilt on her. She cursed without looking at the person who spilt their drink on her. As she looked at her stained top, she then looked up and her brown bambi eyes met green eyes. She and Sebastian looked at each other for a while, and Sebastian said
"I'm sorry." Sebastian apologised, for not only spilling coffee on her, but for everything. Sebastian took off his jacket and gave it to Rachel because he knew that she wouldn't be able to get the coffee stain out. After he handed her his jacket, Sebastian walked out of the coffee shop smiling because he got to see her. He walked up to Thad, and gave him the muffins, and Thad said
"Where's my coffee?" Sebastian smiled at him and said
"On a petite sized brown haired diva." Thad looked at him confused, and said
"What did you say?" I looked at Thad and said
"It's on a diva that goes to NYADA, and loves broadway." As Sebastian said that, he couldn't get the image of he and Rachel just staring at each other for awhile, or even the image of surprise when he apologised to her, or even... You get the picture, he just can't get Rachel out of his head. Thad saw Sebastian's smile and said
"It's on Rachel isn't it?" Sebastian looked at him, and smiled knowingly. Thad was the only one that knew that Sebastian was in love Rachel Thad knew before Sebastian even did, Thad was also the only one to know everything about his dad, and why he did the things he did, and the fact that he also knew Sebastian wasn't gay at all. Sebastian sighed and said
"I bumped into her, and then she cursed and I apologised to her." Thad put his arm around Sebastian and said
"You still got it bad."
Little did Sebastian know was, that Thad was right, he did still have it bad for Rachel, but he knew that he didn't have a chance, but he can't predict his own future, all he knows is that Rachel is the one. Thad then looked at him and said
"You know Sebastian, she might give you a chance now, you aren't the arrogant kid from highschool anymore." Their conversation ended when they walked into their first lecture for Bachelor of Law, where Sebastian kept replaying the morning he had with the love of his life. If only she knew.
