54. Talk to him

Rachel was in her room, sat on her bed reading her favourite book, while her younger sister Marley stood in the doorway. Marley knocked softly on the door, which made Rachel looked up from her book that she was reading, and gestured for her sit on her bed. Marley walked in and sat next to Rachel and said

"Talk to me Rach, what's going on?" Rachel closed her book placed it on her bed, and said

"Nothing is wrong." It was lie, Rachel missed Sebastian. They had broken up not only because their relationship was fake, or that she wanted it to be real but because of Santana. She knew the consequences she didn't want Sebastian Smythe to break her heart, but he did, and all because of Santana. Marley put a comforting arm around her older sister and said

"Rach, I think you should talk to him, according to Sky, his older brother is a mess." Rachel wanted to believe what her sister had said, but she couldn't, all Rachel wanted to do was sit in her room and read her favourite book the forbidden kiss. Rachel laid her head on her sister's shoulder and said

"I don't know Marls, what if he doesn't want to talk to me?" Marley sighed and said

"You won't know unless you talk to him." As she said that, they hear

"Marley is right you know." Rachel and Marley looked to the doorway and saw their older sister Quinn. Quinn walked over to them, and sat on the other side of Rachel and said

"Rachel talk to us what's going on?" Rachel sighed and said

"I miss him, I want to be with him, but what if he doesn't want to be with me, what if I'm just making it happen all in my head." Quinn and Marley hugged their sister, and Quinn said

"There is something called talking to him, how are you going to know if he doesn't want you, if you don't talk to him." Rachel was silent, and Marley said

"I need to confess something." Rachel and Quinn looked at Marley, and she said

"Rach, I sent out those letters." At those words, Rachel looked at her sister and said

"How could you, why did you send those letters, why-" before she could finish, Quinn stopped her mid rant and said

"Rachel, she might have done the wrong thing, but her heart was in the right place, and if it wasn't for those letters Sebastian wouldn't be in your life again." At those words, Rachel knew her older sister was right, Marley hugged her sisters and then left, but sat outside the bedroom door, leaving Rachel and Quinn to talk.

"When I was with Sebastian, it felt different, I mattered to him, I mattered to someone even if it was Sebastian Smythe, I was more open to him than I have ever been to someone else, and I was happy, and now its gone, because of Santana and just once I want to receive a love letter, instead of writing them." Quinn hugged her sister tightly as they hear

"Rachel, I have something for you." Rachel pulled apart the hug from Quinn, and saw Marley in her doorway again, with her blue box. Marley gave Rachel the box, and sat on her bed again, Rachel opened the box, picked a piece of folded paper out, opened it and read

You look so beautiful today

Rachel then picked out another and read

I love having a smarty pants fake girlfriend

Rachel smiled a little, and picked up another

Rachel smiled, and Marley then said

"You kept throwing them out." Rachel reread the last one, and Quinn nudged her and said

"Still think you haven't gotten a love yet?" Rachel put the letter back, stood up from her bed, picked up her keys, and walked out her room, and walked to her car, where she drove to Dalton. She parked her car, opened the door and got out, walked inside the school and walked to the dorms. Rachel stood outside his, took a deep breath, lifted her arm and knocked softly on the door in front her.

Sebastian laid in his bed thinking about Rachel, when he heard the soft knocks. Sebastian got up from his bed, walked to his door and opened it to find Rachel standing on the side. Rachel looked up at him and said

"Hi, I drove here." Sebastian smirked and said

"I can see that." Rachel rolled her eyes at the boy in front of her, as Sebastian lifted his hand and placed it on her cheek and said

"The reason I went to Santana's was to tell her that it was over for good." Rachel was happy on the inside, and he continued

"There's no one like you Broadway." After those words, Sebastian stepped forward and Rachel said

"I like you Sebastian, more than you will ever know." As she said that, it was like a weight was taken off of Sebastian's shoulders, he smiled at her and said

"I love you Rachel Berry." Rachel was shocked, and Sebastian continued

"Are you going to Break my heart Berry?" Rachel shook her head no, as Sebastian kissed her, he lifted her up and then brought her into his dorm, laid her on his bed, where they had a heavy make out session, Sebastian pulled apart and said

"Be my girl Streisand?" Rachel smiled brightly, kissed him and said

"Of course." Sebastian kissed her, then held her close to him, where they fell asleep in each other's arms, not wanting to let go.

They were in it for the long run, but little did they know, that this time in two years, Sebastian would propose to her on a holiday in France, or in the distant future, Rachel had achieved her dreams of Broadway and Sebastian was a successful lawyer, or had realised this time in 5 years they would have two kids.
