Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

166. History

Rachel was with her sister Marley. She was helping her sister prepare for her wedding to Skylar as Marley was pregnant with Skylar's baby. Rachel was shocked and happy for them. But it also meant that Rachel was having to spend time with Sebastian Smythe. Skylar's older brother. 

Rachel was in a world of her own when she heard

"Rachel." over and over again. Rachel got out of her thoughts and said

"Sorry Marley." Marley knew with getting married before her older sister wasn't the greatest and it made Rachel feel lonely. Marley knew that Rachel and Sebastian had history together, but she didn't know exactly what the history was.

"It's okay Rachie. But are you okay? I know me getting married before you isn't the greatest but I am happy sis. Skylar makes me happy, and he's excited to be a dad too." Rachel looked at her little sister and said

"I am happy for you Marley. Really I am. I'm glad that you found happiness, and a really great guy. I can be a little cautious of Sky because of the history between Sebastian and I, but that's nothing to do with you, and I can personal agenda aside for you and Skylar's happiness and love." Marley wasn't sure Rachel could do that.

"You know he's Skylar's best man right?" Rachel completely forgot that aspect. Marley took Rachel's arm, sat down on the couch in the bridal store and said

"What's your history with my fiancé's older brother?" Rachel contemplated in telling her and said

"It's a long story, and it's complicated Marls." Marley looked at her sister and said

"We have time." Rachel took a deep breath and said

"What do you want to know?" Marley gently spoke

"Everything Rachel. and don't leave anything out either." Rachel sat further back in the chair and started to tell the story.

Flashback

Rachel was at the lima bean after she broke off the engagement with Finn. Rachel had found out that Finn had cheated on her with Quinn. Rachel was numb and raw after the break up. She was alone. She looked in the distance at Marley and Skylar talking and laughing. She zoned out until she heard

"Young Barbra Streisand what brings you here without old Betty White, Shakira, and the oaf?" Rachel looked up and saw Sebastian standing by the table she was sitting at with a coffee in hand. Rachel studied him for a while before answering

"Why should I tell you Smythe?" Sebastian smirked his usual smirk as he sat down across from her

"Because I'm handsome and rich, good in bed, and will treat you right, plus our siblings are dating as well. Might as well be at least civil with each other." Rachel shook her head and said

"You're unbelievable you know that?" Sebastian winked at her and said

"All part of the charm babe." Rachel cursed herself for blushing at his witty remarks, and said

"Finn and I broke up. He cheated on me with Quinn and what makes it all worst he actually asked me to marry him and I said yes before I found out." Sebastian screwed up his nose and said

"He could have at least picked someone with standards, and you settle, you have to be joking, what happened to your dreams are New York, NYADA, Broadway, winning a Tony and then being married and waiting until you are 25."  Rachel looked at Sebastian shocked, how could he know her plan.

"How do you know my plan Sebastian?" Sebastian looked at her softly and said

"Marley told me. I figured if she's dating Skylar, I may as well get to know more about her, and more about you." Rachel couldn't believe Sebastian did that.

"I can't believe you did that. It's sweet of you to do. Who knew the bad boy of Dalton had a sweet heart." Sebastian shushed her and said

"Don't say it out loud, it will ruin my rep." Rachel gave a small smile and said

"Oh of course. Secret safe with me." Sebastian smiled at her, he then looked at Skylar and Marley who were kissing, and then back at Rachel and said

"You want to get out here. As much as I love our siblings, I don't particularly want to see their PDA." Rachel nodded her head and said

"Agreed. But where would we go?" Sebastian thought about it, and then said

"My dorm. I share with Trent. We have a secret Disney stash that we hide away from Nick and Jeff.  and I'm not asking for anything either. " Rachel thought about Sebastian's request. She was nervous. She had never been alone with Sebastian before. She would be lying to herself if she said she didn't have feelings for him, because she did. Sebastian was handsome and good looking, something Sebastian himself knew and broadcasted it every chance he got, just like how she did with her own talent. They weren't that different. 

She wondered what would have happened if she said no, but they would never find out because she blushed and said

"Okay." Sebastian smiled widely, stood up, took her hand and then walked to his car. Her blush didn't go unnoticed to Sebastian and he wondered if his crush on her wasn't one sided. Sebastian wanting to know about Rachel through Marley wasn't just because of their siblings, but because Sebastian was in love with Rachel, and he realised he didn't know much about her personally. So he went to her sister for more.

Sebastian stopped outside of his car and stared at Rachel wondering if he should chance it. Rachel was confused and said

"Sebastian what are you doing?" Sebastian put Rachel's hair behind her ear, and placed his hand on her cheek and said

"Experimenting." Before Rachel could say, she felt his lips on hers. Rachel kissed back and wrapped her arms around his neck. When they pulled apart, Sebastian looked at her and said

"You like me back?" Rachel pecked his lips and said

"I love you back. I've always wanted you. I only said yes to Finn because I didn't think you loved me back." Sebastian chuckled and said

"I love you too." Sebastian kissed her again which was the start of Smytheberry.

Flashback end

Rachel then sadly spoke

"Then we broke up. We had a huge fight, and then broke up." Marley couldn't believe it and said

"I'm so sorry Rachie. and I guess seeing him now and being part of the wedding is hard." Rachel nodded her head and said

"It is. and it's much harder because I still love him. I believe he's my soulmate." Unbeknownst to Rachel and Marley. Sebastian and Skylar had walked in and heard Rachel. Skylar couldn't believe it, and had no idea of the history. Skylar walked up to Marley and said

"Why don't we give our siblings privacy." Marley looked at Skylar, saw Sebastian and agreed with him. Skylar helped Marley up, and then walked away with him.

Sebastian sat down where Marley once was and said

"I'm sorry. Our fight and break up was my fault. I was jealous." Rachel softly spoke

"I know. and I'm sorry too. Do you still love me Sebby?" Sebastian leaned forward, kissed her and said

"I never stopped loving  you."
