Sebastian and Rachel One Shots (Smytheberry)

165. Her Saviour- Part 2

Sebastian was with Thad in the Warbler room setting up the Christmas tree when Thad spoke.

"So we aren't going to talk about you saving Rachel, and letting her wear your clothes and letting her sleep in yours and Trent's dorm Smythe?" Sebastian blushed slightly and said

"It's called being polite, defending her, and making sure she is warm, because after all she was left in the parking lot in the cold Harwood." Thad rolled his eyes at his best friend since they were kids and said

"You keep telling yourself that Smythe." Sebastian knelt down to the decoration box to pick up tinsel from the inside of it. As he stood up, he stopped and paused from what he was doing. He dropped the tinsel when saw a decorated bauble that belonged to him in the decoration box with the tinsle and Christmas  lights. He held the specific decorated bauble in his hand from when he was a kid. He turned it around and saw the glittered gold star. Sebastian knew instantly that it was him and Rachel who decorated the bauble together in arts and crafts from Elementary school before he and his family left for Paris where he lived for awhile. Rachel told him to keep it.

Flashback

Rachel and Sebastian were in arts and craft in Elementary school. They were paired together for the project. It was Sebastian's last week before he moved to France. At that time he had no idea when he would be back or if he'll back. But Sebastian knew that he would miss Rachel a lot.

Rachel smiled widely at her little friend as she put the gold star on the decoration and said

"There. All done. It's now a pwetty star." Even as a kid Sebastian knew his friend and crush was going to be a star. Sebastian gave a small smile to her

"Just wike you Rachie." Rachel blushed a little. But she will miss her friend a lot.

Rachel gave the decoration to Sebastian.

"Here Sebby. You can take it to Fwance wid you, so you don't fowget me at all."

Sebastian took the decoration from Rachel.

"Tank you Wachie. But I won't ever fowget you."

End flashback

Sebastian was pulled from his thoughts when heard his name repeatedly.

"Finally. I've been calling your name for a while." Thad looked the decoration in Sebastian's hand and said

"You still have that?" Sebastian looked at Thad and said

"I do, what's it to you?" Thad shook his head and said

"Nothing Smythe. Let's just finish decorating." Sebastian placed the decoration on the tree and said

"No tell me." Thad sighed and said

"It's just Rachel gave it to you as a kid from Elementary school when we were all paired together in Arts and Craft." Sebastian looked at him and said

"So." Thad looked at Sebastian

"You love her. You've been crushing on her since we were kids." Sebastian blushed

"And she still doesn't know. Besides she's hung up on Hudson still." Thad stopped what he was doing and said

"Who is with Quinn and always chooses Quinn. And the same guy that left her in a Christmas tree parking lot in the cold to go back to oh yeah Quinn. Doesn't sound like Prince charming to me Smythe." Sebastian rolled his eyes.

"She will always choose Finn." Thad shook his head and said

"You sure about that?" Thad like Trent knew Rachel was in love with Sebastian and will always choose Sebastian.

Sebastian was confused and said

"What do you mean?" Thad sighed and said

"I mean. Go put on your big boy pants, go to yours and Trent's dorm and tell Rachel how you feel, before she goes running back to Hudson."

Sebastian put his hands up in defence and said

"Fine I'm going. But finish decorating the tree." Sebastian then turned and walked out of the warbler room to his and Trent's dorm, where he messaged Trent to leave so he could be with Rachel alone.

Rachel was in Trent's dorm waiting for Trent to come back to come back with their hot chocolate. She was still cold from being left out in the cold and snow thanks to Finn leaving her there. She was grateful that Sebastian, Thad and Trent were there to help her. Rachel decided that then and there she was really done with Finn, and will definitely tell Mr. Schue and Miss Pillsbury about what he done to get his captaincy taken off him.

As she was wrapped in the blanket Trent gave her. The dorm door opened thinking it was Trent back with the hot chocolates she said

"Did you remember no marshmallows in my hot chocolate?" Sebastian was confused and said

"I didn't bring hot chocolates Rach. Was I meant to?" Rachel blushed and said

"I thought you were Trent. He left to get us hot chocolates to continue our movie watching while we waited for you and Thad." Sebastian sat on the bed next to Rachel and said

"Makes sense. How are you feeling anyway?" Rachel sighed softly and said

"Still a bit cold." Sebastian wrapped his arms around her and said

"If you're still cold. Maybe we could cuddle each other." Rachel blushed and said

"We could try." Sebastian pulled Rachel closer to him. And he softly spoke

"Rachel?" Rachel softly replied

"Yes Sebby." Sebastian looked down at her, leaned forward and kissed her. He was nervous and worried that she wouldn't kiss back or feel the same. His heart sang when she kissed him back.

They pulled apart the kiss and Rachel said as she sat up to look at him.

"My lips are still cold Sebby." Sebastian smirked and kissed her again.

The pulled apart once more and Sebastian spoke

"Be my girl Rachel?" Rachel smiled widely and said

"I would love to. I've loved you since we were kids." Sebastian smiled and said

" I love you too. And have since we were kids as well." Sebastian pecked her lips and said

"Happy Christmas Pretty Girl. And happy Hanukkah too" Rachel smiled and said

"Happy Christmas Sebby."
