Saturday, 9th August:

"Good morning, birthday boy!", Amelia greeted her friend, straddling him and leaning down to kiss his lips passionately, feeling him wrap his arms around her body as he opened his eyes and grinned into the kiss.

"Good morning!", he sighed, enjoying the way she had chosen to wake him. "This is a nice way to wake up, I could get used to this.", he mumbled, letting her kiss him again. "Woah!", he commented on her nonchalantly taking off her shirt. "You're so hot!", he smirked.

"Thank you!", the brunette said, biting her lower lip as she was sitting on top of him. "Is there anything you want for your birthday?", she teased. It was 7am, so the kids wouldn't be awake for another half an hour since they somehow always slept until 7:30am at least. Even Leo, who they had trained in sleeping through the nights.

"Birthday sex, what kind of question is this?!", Owen replied, changing their position, so he could be on top. "Because we are still friends with two kinds of benefits.", he joked, kissing his colleague again. She just chuckled at this. "But only if you're up for it. Especially since we are in bed."

"Owen, I basically offered it.", the neurosurgeon answered softly. "But thank you for your concern.", she smiled. "And now let's make sure you get some hot birthday sex, otherwise you'll have to wait until the kids are asleep and everybody is gone."

"Happy birthday, weirdo!", Megan greeted her brother, arriving together with their mom and Teddy. "What's that happy glow in your eyes?", she questioned, letting the others hug him as well.

"I've had mind-blowing birthday sex this morning and ever since, I cannot stop smiling.", her brother shared, seeing his mother's face. "Sorry mom, I usually don't brag about my sex-life, but Amelia..."

"Even I would do her.", his best friend meddled, winking at him when all of them took a seat outside at the table. Logan and Layla were playing in the garden and Amelia had been sitting on a blanket under a tree with Leo, watching them.

"That's what I said.", the female trauma surgeon agreed, waving at the brunette, who got up to go greet her friend's family, too. "Hey supermom!", she smiled at her colleague and embraced her a little. "And hello, small bean!", she grinned at her nephew before she moved on to the other two kids.

"Hi!", the neurosurgeon said to Evelyn and Teddy, watching Owen come outside with several choices of juices, some water, and different lemonades. Both of them happily greeted her back.

"Can I hold him?", the blonde wondered softly, referring to the baby in her friend's arms. She nodded and handed him over. "Good, otherwise I would have had to speak to you in my doctor voice, since you aren't allowed to carry him for longer than a few minutes yet."

"Fine.", Amelia scoffed amused, making everyone laugh. "But I only have one week of physical therapy left.", she cheered happily and received a kiss from Owen, who couldn't be prouder of her.

"You two are just too cute!", Evelyn informed them. "I mean, I will never forget the first time I met you, dear. Coming home and asking him for sex before talking about anything else.", she laughed.

"I said hey first!", the brunette corrected as she giggled, causing everybody to laugh again. "I might have been a bit too horny that day but no worries, not going to happen today, since-", she began.

"Since you two had mind-blowing sex this morning, we know. Stop bragging!", Megan whined. "I miss sex so much!", she complained.", noticing her mother's face. "What? You've had great sex apparently, since you made two wonderful children with dad. Teddy and I deserve amazing sex, too."

"Hey!", the Grey-Shepherds and Maggie greeted the family. Derek had a key, so they could just come inside since they were expected anyway. "Happy birthday!", all of them grinned at Owen, whose face lit up. He wasn't such a big fan of birthdays, but he loved having everyone over.

"I'll go open the door!", Amelia let her friend know, who was about to get up again after just having taken a seat. "You stay here and talk to your guests.", she told Owen, hugging his neck from behind and pecking his cheek before she disappeared.

"God, she looks so much happier with you than she ever did with James.", Maggie realized, glad to see her colleagues so in love. The redhead shyly smiled and blushed, grabbed his glass and took a sip.

"He's so dorky when it comes to her.", Teddy noticed. "Your daddy is such a dork, sweetie.", she told Leo again, who giggled cutely. The neurosurgeon came back with April, Jackson, Callie, Arizona, Sofia, and everyone else Owen had invited.
