"Hey, thought you'd appreciate a little snack.", Amelia told her husband, who was working in his study. She put down the plate with an avocado toast and some chips as well as a beer. He wasn't really drinking anymore ever since he had gotten together with her, but she knew that he still liked beer. And after the last few days, he deserved one. "How's it going?", she asked softly, standing next to Owen, and gently stroking the back of his head as she stared at his computer.
"Thank you, Honey.", the redhead smiled, enjoying the way she was caressing his head. "It's going pretty well, almost done. Are you good?", he wanted to know, smiling up at his wife. Eleanor was sleeping in Amelia's chair.
"Yeah. I just wanted to talk to you about something, but you finish this first and once you're done, you'll find me in the bedroom, hopefully still watching TV, maybe sleeping.", the neurosurgeon joked, making him chuckle. She seemed a little more relaxed again and he was so happy that she was better.
"Okay, I'll hurry. I'll be right upstairs.", Owen promised, motioning for her to lean down and give him a kiss, which she did. "I love you!", he told her when his wife was on her way out. "Alright, here I am, and I see you're still awake too.", he said about twenty minutes later when he walked into their bedroom, letting the husky in as well. "So, what's up?"
"Owen...", the brunette started rather confident, but fell silent because suddenly she was very nervous. Her husband glanced at her with his curious and loving baby blue eyes, encouraging her to continue. "Could you ever imagine leaving Seattle?"
"Uhm, sure. I was in the military, and we did go on vacation just about two weeks ago. So, yes.", the trauma surgeon answered, a little confused by her question. "Why? Wanna go on vacation again once the kids are on Easter break?"
"No, I uh...this is not what I meant, Babe.", Amelia told him. "I was talking about moving away from Seattle...into another state.", she clarified. "Would you ever consider that?", she asked more clearly.
"I...", her husband began but didn't know how to continue. "I haven't thought about it.", he said slowly. "Yet, I mean.", he corrected himself. "Have you considered it? Would you like to leave Seattle, Ames?"
"I don't know. Dr. Brato suggested it and ever since then I'm thinking about it. Maybe we should go to L.A.? Live near Addie and the practice. But you've lived here for so so long, I would understand if you wouldn't want to move.", the neurosurgeon explained and shrugged unsurely. "I just figured that we could start over as a family somewhere else. Woah, Ma'am!", she exclaimed in shock when Eleanor jumped up the bed and landed on top of her. "Are you crazy?", she laughed at the excited dog.
"She is.", the redhead confirmed. "Why would you jump mommy like that?", he asked the husky, pulling her into his arms to cuddle her. "Do you not feel safe here anymore? Is that why you want to leave?"
"Honestly? Yes.", his wife admitted. "I also know what it would mean. Logan would be mad, leaving Atlas and his other friends behind. Us leaving our families behind and our house. But I don't think I'll ever be able to forget everything that has happened here."
"Then, we'll do it. I don't want you to be scared anymore. I want you to be happy again. And if it means we're moving to L.A., then we are going to do this.", Owen decided. "Let's talk to the kids tomorrow. Also, how fancy are we? Living at the beach...I'm gonna get to see you in your sexy bikini almost every day.", he fantasized.
"Oh, come on!", the brunette smirked. "That shouldn't be the reason we are moving. I mean, you can see me naked right now if you want to.", she teased her husband, biting her lower lip after.
"I absolutely want to.", the trauma surgeon accepted the offer, very happy that his wife was in the mood for sex again. Not because of the sex, but because it meant she was actually getting better. "El, sleep in your bed!", he ordered, watching the dog jump off theirs.

"What would you Guys say about us moving to the beach in L.A.?", Owen asked the children during dinner. The twins didn't care and just kept munching on their food. The other three kids glanced at their parents, not quite sure if that was a joke or not.
"I'd say, let's not because I have a boyfriend here and this is where I go to school.", Logan replied confidently, since his opinion had been asked. "I've lived there, then we've moved here and now you want us to go back?", he questioned.
"I wanna go! I hate that it rains here so often. If we lived at the beach, there would be sun! And I could go swimming with Ellie!", Layla excitedly exclaimed, already imagining her life elsewhere. "She loves to swim and hates taking baths.", she informed the whole family, although they all knew that.
"You can't even swim.", her brother argued. "We can't just leave everything we've built here!", he said. "Just because of some things that have happened years ago.", he added since he didn't know about the recent call.
"Honestly, I think it's a decision your mom and I have already made, Buddy.", his father shared. "We've just wanted to tell you about it before we start the process of moving to Auntie Addie."
"Perfect!", the teenager yelled. "Absolutely perfect! Why are you always so selfish?!", he attacked his mother. "I've left Los Angeles because of your wish to live here and now I have to leave Seattle because you wanna go back?! I hate you!", he screamed and left the dining table to run into his room upstairs, leaving his mother behind with tears in her eyes.
"He's in puberty, it's normal for him to lash out.", the trauma surgeon reminded his wife and stroked her shoulder. "You finish dinner, I'll talk to Logan.", he made a plan and grabbed the boy's plate to take it to his son.
"Why does she always have to do this? Why does she have to ruin my life?", the young brunette wanted to know from his dad, who sat down next to him on his bed and handed him the plate.
"Sweetie, don't be like that. You love mama.", the redhead pointed out. "She doesn't feel safe in Seattle anymore because of all the stuff that happened here. Let's give her a chance of being happy again."
"And what about me? Don't I deserve the happiness I have with Atlas?", Logan started crying. "I love him, Dad!", he tried to reason with his father. "I want mom happy, but why do I have to give up my own happiness for that?"
"Baby, you are right, this is somewhat unfair. But if we stay here, your mother will end up in the psych ward. She's not fine. And if we keep living in Seattle, she won't be with us because she will end up needing help.", Owen explained. "So, let's give her the chance of letting all the bad stuff go. Alright?", he asked, causing his son to slightly nod.
