"Megan and Nathan won't join us.", Meredith announced when she walked into the living area, where the adults were meeting every evening after they had brought the children to bed. Some of them wanted to play a game, others just talked and relaxed.

"Why not?", Andrew asked confused. It had become kind of a tradition for them to meet down here until everybody went to bed. "Are they not feeling well? Did they eat too much? I mean Megan loved the German food so much, it is now her favorite kind of food."

"They are having sex, I heard them when I walked towards the stairs.", the blonde answered instantly, not leaving any room for questions. She chuckled upon seeing Owen's disgusted face, Evelyn had already gone to bed since Christmas days were extremely exhausting. "Yes Owen, your sister is sleeping with her boyfriend, which is normal."

"Why are we down here and not upstairs having sex as well?", Amelia complained as she glanced at the redhead, now causing Derek to widen his eyes in shock. He was not amused by the fact that she was talking about her sex life in front of him.

"Because we are going to play Monopoly in teams and you are on mine.", the brunette told his little sister. "We always win when we play together.", he proudly announced, so their friends could get ready to lose.

"Usually we don't.", the female neurosurgeon corrected her brother in confusion. "Who else is playing? Would make sense if everyone was, so we can have four teams with two players each."

"Fine, I'll play with Teddy then.", Owen decided. "Derek stole my last remaining family member, my mom is sleeping, and Megan is...ugh.", he said, shaking his body for empathize on how disgusted he was by the thought.

"Well, I think I'll choose Tom. Good chance to win.", Maggie giggled, leaving Andrew and Meredith to play as the fourth team. "I mean, we could have all played individually, but that probably takes too long.", she realized.

"Feels like old times, Amy.", her brother-in-law excitedly grinned at his sister, who chuckled and nudged his arm before she rested her head against his shoulder. "Let's show them why everyone in our family is so successful."

"Babe, stop bragging, it's annoying.", his wife brought him back down to earth. "I'm pretty sure either Owen and Teddy or Andrew and I will win, because we are playing out of fun, and you should too."

"I'm not playing out of fun, my wife was stolen from me.", the trauma surgeon whined. At least he was still sitting next to her, so she could grasp his hand and guide it to her lips to kiss it. "Now, I feel better."

"You two dorks...", his best friend commented on the situation and shook her head in amusement. "Imagine being that cute.", she said. "Now, let's play! Otherwise, we'll never be done. I don't even know why we agreed to play Monopoly and start at 9pm."

"Are we truly going to let the kids play Hide 'n Seek in here tomorrow?", Tom wanted to know about ten minutes later when it was Meredith and Andrew's turn. The children had begged them for days since the mansion was so huge.

"It's a yes from me.", Amelia responded immediately, absolutely ready for the fun. "I mean, we can agree on spots and rooms that are tabu. For example, nobody gets to hide in the kitchen.", she added.

"I mean, why not?", Andrew shrugged. "They are kids. If we don't let them, they will either mope around and pout about it all day or do it when we don't notice it.", he pointed out.

"Look at you, all aware of what children are like.", his girlfriend beamed at him and bit her lower lip. "Maybe we should start having some of our own.", she teased, but basically meant it. Her sisters were mothers, and she was finally ready to be one, too.

"Is that an offer?", the pediatric surgeon questioned excitedly and watched the brunette nod shyly. "I might take you up on it tonight.", he promised and winked at her with a cute smile. "What's with you?", he asked Amelia, who stared at her husband all of a sudden.

"She wants sex tonight too, especially since everyone else is getting some.", Owen clarified. "And you're gonna get it.", he whispered into his wife's ear, making her blush because she hadn't expected him to be so straightforward in front of their friends.

"You all are really disgusting, you know? There's stuff that everybody else doesn't need to know and this includes your guys' sex lives.", his brother-in-law complained, addressing both couples in annoyance.

"Okay, Grumpy...", his sister rolled her eyes at him. "It's our turn. Roll the dices!", she demanded. "Oh, hey Killian.", she noticed the boy that was coming into the living room, tiredly playing with his fingers.

"What's up, Honey?", Teddy went into worried-mother-mode and got up, wrapping her son in a hug. "Did you have a nightmare?", she asked. Tom was watching his girlfriend in awe, he loved how gentle she was with their child.

"No, I just can't really sleep.", Killian sighed sadly. "Can I sleep in your bed tonight?", he begged, mumbling into his mom's belly as he did, and enjoying the soft way she was stroking the back of his head.

"Yeah.", the cardio surgeon allowed it after looking at her boyfriend, who had nodded with a smile on his face. "I'm gonna bring you back to bed, go give your father a hug and then we can go upstairs."

"Okay, Mama.", he agreed and nodded, tiredly stumbling into his dad's arms, which he had opened for him to walk into. "Good night, Daddy! I love you!", he said. "Good night, everyone!"

"Nighty, Sweetheart!", Owen answered and waved at the boy. "He's such a sweet kid.", he realized once again, addressing Tom, who proudly nodded. He was so happy to have gotten the chance to be with his son.
