"Alrighty, get in the bed, El. Here, let me help you.", Owen talked to their dog and noticed his fiancé's unamused face when the little husky took a lot of space. "What?", he wondered.

"She has a perfect XXL-sized dog bed right next to ours.", the brunette reminded him. "She doesn't have to sleep in there with us every night. Right, Ellie? You don't.", she addressed the puppy, who had her eyes closed already. "She takes up so much space."

"Well Amelia, the way I see things, this is a you-problem.", the trauma surgeon started teasing her and she knew he was kidding because of the way he had said her name. "If she bothers you up there, feel free to sleep in the dog bed.", he suggested, looking totally serious. "You're small enough."

"You're crazy!", the neurosurgeon chuckled in disbelief. "Fine then, at least she doesn't shed yet.", she shrugged. "You're super mean by the way.", she pouted and climbed under the blanket on her side of the bed.

"Excuse you? You were the one trying to bully my puppy out of the bed.", her fiancé accused jokingly, letting her snuggle up to him to stroke her back. "Did Layla fall asleep easily?", he wondered.

"Yeah. And Logan will go to bed at 8. I threatened him with coming back to check on him, but I won't.", she giggled, feeling actually funny, which made him chuckle. "Are you still tense?"

"Yeah, but it's a bit better. Maybe you can give me a sexy massage in the morning if I am still in pain.", Owen requested and smirked, watching her wink at him which meant she would. "You're the best. What's the plan for tomorrow?"

"Well, Leo's stuff. Layla's stuff and Logan's clothes since he wants to do the rest himself.", Amelia shared quietly, too exhausted to stay awake as she was falling asleep in her fiancé's arms. She was almost out when her baby started crying.

"I've got him.", the redhead whispered, carefully sliding out of the bed from his position under her, so she could continue resting. It took him ten minutes to get the boy back down and since it was almost eight, he decided to check on his oldest son.

"Good night, dad.", Logan sweetly mumbled. He had kept his promise of going to bed once it was eight and was currently about to fall asleep. "I love you!", he told him, receiving a kiss to his forehead when his brother decided to scream again.

"Love you too, angel!", his father said, walking back into Leo's room. "Well, maybe we will have to start practicing this from tomorrow on, baby. But for now, you get to join mama and me.", he decided, taking the one-year-old to the bedroom with him. "Hey, I brought somebody who's going to make sure we have even less space than before since the huge husky is taking up almost all of it already.", he teased again. "He won't go to sleep.", he sighed.

"Okay.", the brunette replied, letting her fiancé hand Leo to her. "Come here, buddy.", she said, her face lighting up once he wrapped his tiny arms around her neck to cuddle. "Good night now, time to sleep. Night, Ella. Night, babe."

"Good night.", the trauma surgeon responded softly, pecking her lips, and kissing his son's forehead before he let Eleanor snuggle up to him to have a cuddle buddy as well.

"I have news.", Logan shyly began at the breakfast table. His grandma was with them again, too. When everybody looked at him, he got kind of nervous, which his little sister noticed, so she grabbed his hand with her tiny one.

"You can tell us anything.", Amelia informed him excitedly, anticipating her son to finally tell them about his relationship. So did Owen, but he was also getting ready for an argument with his mother if this would be the news and she wouldn't take them the way the eleven-year-old needed her to.

"Uh, Atlas and I are a couple.", the boy shared with a cute smile. He looked really happy. "I totally love him!", he added, awaiting only positive responses. He knew Layla didn't care about who he loved and that his parents said they wouldn't either, but maybe his grandma did.

"Your very first love, my sweet dear!", Evelyn was the first one to speak. "I am so happy for you!", she elaborated. "And you can breathe now, Owen. It's quite obvious when you prepare for having a fight.", she chuckled. "But I know that this is a topic, which some people react poorly to, so I appreciate the fact that you were trying to protect your son."

"So, you guys are happy for me too?", the young brunette asked his parents, who nodded. "We've actually been together for a few weeks now.", he giggled, finding it quite funny that he hadn't said anything sooner because he realized there was no reason to be worried.

"I know.", his mother answered and winked at him. "I am your mama, you cannot fool me.", she pointed out. "Honey, how about you eat one at a time.", she suggested to Leo, who was happily snacking on small pieces of toast. But she wasn't actually suggesting it, she pulled his hand back out of his mouth, so he wouldn't choke on all the food.
