Wednesday, 2nd November:
Logan: 13; Layla: 7; Leo: 3; Twins: 1; Eleanor: 2

"We're back.", Amelia announced as she walked into the house with Layla and Leo who had accompanied her during grocery shopping. Logan had chosen to stay home and wanted to be left alone in his room, hit by a wave of puberty.
Lucas was snuggling with Eleanor and Owen had been busying Luna, who had chosen to clear out all the cupboards she could reach in the living room, meaning her father had to put everything back in.
"Did you buy my chocolate?", the brunette could hear her oldest child yell from upstairs, causing her to throw her husband a glance. "MOM?!", the thirteen-year-old questioned impatiently.
"Move your ass down here and get it. I am not your servant!", the neurosurgeon shouted back, annoyed by his attitude. "Not my kind little boy turning into a monster in puberty.", she sighed and pouted.
"Mama said ass.", Layla giggled and made Leo laugh too, which caused their dad to tilt his head in an unamused way as he stared at his wife, who suddenly looked guilty. "I'll play with Lucas.", she decided.
"NO!", the toddler complained. "Play with me!", he demanded and crossed his arms. He didn't want his sister to play with his brother because he was still angry at him at all times since he wouldn't chase him.
"Hey...", Amelia tried to calm her son down by distracting him. The baby had accepted the seven-year-old's idea of playing together, which still didn't happen often, so she wanted to embrace that moment for him. "Didn't you want to look at your magazine?", she reminded the boy.
"Oh, yeah.", Leo remembered and grabbed it out of his mother's hand. "Thank you.", he smiled because he was in a more peaceful mood again. He climbed onto the couch and started studying the magazine.
"Why only two chocolate bars?!", Logan criticized his mom, who was putting away the groceries. But one glance at his father signaled him that it had been enough of his attitude now, so he grabbed his candy, shrugged, and said: "Thanks, mom."
"You're welcome. Now stop being so grumpy, my God.", the brunette requested and shook her head as she watched him go back upstairs. As if the general mood wasn't spoiled enough, Owen had taken the stapler out of his daughter's hands and she hated when she wasn't allowed to do something, in that case, holding the stapler. And now she was screaming and throwing a tantrum.
Even Eleanor judged the girl for being that dramatic and loud and chose to move to the door, so her mom would let her out and grant her the chance of getting away from the whiny baby, who had no reason to be pissed.
"I get it. I would do the same thing, if I was you.", the neurosurgeon informed her dog, glad that her husband had been the only one who had heard her and watching him chuckle as she let the husky run outside. "Can you start dinner in half an hour?", she asked him, too exhausted to make food for everyone.
"Sure thing, babe.", the redhead nodded and opened his arm for her to come snuggle with him, even if he was sitting on the floor, still monitoring his kid, who was already busy with searching for new stuff again. "Any wishes?"
"Chocolate ice cream!", Layla excitedly exclaimed from her spot next to her little brother. Her sparkling eyes scanned those of her father for any sign of approval since the idea seemed so great to her.
"Any appropriate wishes?", the trauma surgeon repeated his question more clearly. "Leo, it's actually your turn to choose today. But please do me the favor of picking out something that doesn't take too long."
"Uhm...", the mini blonde started thinking, which made his parents pretty proud since usually, he was the clown of the family and never really responded seriously. "Pancakes?", he suggested. "No, wait...that takes preparation.", he remembered. "Spaghetti Carbonara?"
"Sounds good to me.", Owen agreed and smiled at his son, who focused on his magazine again. His face lit up when he felt his mother kiss his head because she was so happy with him answering in a serious way.
"That's my big boy.", Amelia praised him before she left the room to use the guest bathroom since she was too lazy to go upstairs just to use the toilet. A second later, Luna's screams could be heard once more.
"I guess, she misses you?", her husband shared when she walked back in. "Generally, I am pretty sure, she's just tired, so I think I'm gonna start cooking dinner already. She will not stop crying and everything we do makes her upset."
"Alright.", the brunette smiled and lifted the girl into her arms to calm her down. "Look sweetie, this is your doggy. She's so happy to be outside.", she told her daughter as they looked out of the huge living room windows into the garden, where Eleanor was running around and having the time of her life.
"That's because she doesn't have five children to take care of.", she heard the trauma surgeon mumble and now it was her turn to chuckle. "Not really anyway. Only when she wants to.", he added, thinking about the husky's motherly behavior sometimes.
"Logan, come downstairs and set the table, please!", his wife yelled and a few minutes later. The boy stomped down the stairs into the room, giving his parents a hard time staying calm. "Did something happen?", she wanted to know. "Because if not, I'd like you to stop being so moody. Your dad and I are tired already, so your attitude isn't really helping.", she scolded him.
"Nothing happened.", the young brunette let them know. "I'm sorry.", he finally apologized for being such a brat today. "I'm just not in a good mood but I know it's unfair to let it out on you."
