"Yes, but if we go after their nap-", Teddy replied, looking at Megan and Amelia when she felt tiny hands on her knees since they were sitting on the couches. Luna was occupying her mother's lap, where she looked at a picture book. "Oh, hey!", she beamed at Lucas.

"He's warming up.", her friend noticed happily. She looked extremely proud of her son. "I think he wants you to read that book over there to him.", the brunette chuckled. The little boy was staring at his aunt, expecting her to pick him up.

"Come here, sweetheart!", the cardio surgeon smiled at the one-year-old and lifted him into her lap before she grabbed the book. "You guys have to continue the conversation without me, I am busy.", she excitedly shared, glad to finally have become one of the chosen ones of her nephew.

"We are back!", Owen, Maggie, Meredith, Nathan, and Andrew informed everyone. They had bought some more groceries as well as snacks for everybody. Eleanor proudly carried a bratwurst plushy with a cute face and mustard on its back into the room.

"What do you have there, angel?", Amelia asked her excited dog, that walked towards her mama to show her what she had gotten. "Were you such a good girl and daddy got you this new toy?"

"Woof!", the husky replied, after letting the stuffed toy fall onto her baby's book before she started licking her mother's hand and moved on to kissing the twins. After that, she grabbed her plushy again and went to find her other three children.

"You bought her a bratwurst?", Derek questioned, not able to stop himself from chuckling anymore. Even he thought that it was funny. "I mean, it's a great German souvenir for a dog.", he added, trying to make peace with his brother-in-law after overthinking his behavior from yesterday.

"She was sitting in front of it and stared at it for three minutes straight, we had even lost the others. And then I remembered how great she's been during the whole trip here and the vacation itself, so I figured she deserved this.", the trauma surgeon explained.

"Because it isn't Christmas in three days and we don't usually spoil our husky too much already.", his wife ironically joked. "But it's fine, she obviously loves the toy a lot and you are right, she has been nothing but perfect the past days."

"Hey, Lucas is sitting with you!", Maggie noticed happily, basically addressing Teddy, who didn't pay attention to anything else but the boy. She wanted him to know that her focus was fully on him since he was supposed to be aware that his trust was appreciated.

"She's busy.", Megan said. "Okay, so let's make lunch, shall we? After that, nap time for the kids, and for me too of course. And then we can go back to that playground the children loved so much when we went for a walk yesterday."

"Maybe we should let your vitals get checked out.", Evelyn meddled. "How are you always so tired, honey? Maybe you are suffering from iron deficiency or something.", she worried before she sipped on her tea and motioned for her daughter-in-law to do the same, since she had forgotten hers and wasn't getting enough fluids.

"Stop being such a mom!", her son complained and chuckled. "Megan has a baby, it's normal that she's tired. And also, I am too. All day, every day. And you never ask me why I am sleepy.", he whined. "Father of five by the way. A teen, two babies, a drama queen and a clown."

"I'm the clown!", Leo giggled from his spot next to his siblings, cousins, and friends. They were all playing some self-invented game together. The toddler made the adults laugh with that.

"At least he's self-aware.", Layla responded. "I suppose I am the drama queen?", she challenged her dad, staring into his eyes and watching him nod dangerously slow. "Ah yes. I think, I am a cute little unicorn that can be slightly annoying sometimes."

"I'm the baby, obviously.", Logan decided to join his siblings in being crazy and started laughing upon seeing his parents' unamused faces. His mother even looked somewhat embarrassed. "What, mommy?", he smirked, calling her mommy on purpose. "Aren't we making you the proudest?"

"Of course.", the neurosurgeon answered, wearing the same fake smile on her face as her kid. "I'm so sorry. They are basically mini versions of me, and you deserve much better than four of us.", she realized and apologized to her husband. "Maybe those two are more like you."

"I hope, they are like you too.", Owen winked at his wife and let Eleanor jump into his lap on the armchair. She laid down with her bratwurst in her snout and let him give her all the pets. "I love all of my crazies.", he informed her. "Now, back to the topic. It's only the kids, right?", he questioned his sister, worrying about her too.

"Well, actually...it's one kid...I'm pregnant again.", the redhead shared the news with her family and friends, causing them to be extremely surprised. "And after our vacation we are going to find out the sex.", she beamed.

"Congratulations!", everyone told the couple and hugged them both. Farouk seemed so happy about getting another younger sibling too and well, Daniel was too small to understand what was going on.
