Wednesday, 1st February:

Logan: 13; Layla: 7; Leo: 4; Twins: 1; Eleanor: 2

"Mama, can I have cereal with chocolate milk today?", Leo mumbled after his mother had come to get him from his room since he was so sleepy this morning. "Please.", he whispered, snuggling into his mom's neck.

"Of course, Sweetie.", Amelia answered, gently rubbing his back. "Good morning, everybody.", she smiled, still holding the toddler. She had already seen all her other children and greeted them properly.

"Oh, hi!", her husband excitedly beamed at the sight of his son and watched him wave sweetly. "Wow, cereal with chocolate milk.", he excitedly commented on the chosen breakfast of his kid, who nodded slightly, remaining in his mother's lap.

"Leo has a slow morning today.", the neurosurgeon informed Owen and let the four-year-old eat in her lap. "Which is absolutely fine.", she assured her child, kissing his head. "Thank you.", she smiled at her husband, who pushed her own plate over to her.

"So, are you all excited for your days?", the trauma surgeon asked his kids, noticing how Lucas wasn't really eating but only looking through the room. "Honey, you are supposed to eat."

"NO!", the one-year-old replied to both things his father had said and threw his fork to the ground next to him. "NO!", he repeated, causing his dad to look at his mom, who just stared back with an annoyed expression.

"Yep.", Layla decided to answer her father's question since they were supposed to ignore such behavior of their younger siblings. "We have arts and crafts today.", she shared, handing Luna a piece of her banana.

"Tank you!", her sister's face lit up as she took a big bite of the fruit and munched on it. Now, Lucas was jealous and wanted to have a piece of banana as well, so he started crying.

"Are you hungry or not?", Owen kinda lost his temper, eyeing his son, who looked at him with big sad eyes, now that he noticed that his father was angry at him. "Are you or not, Lucas?"

"Yeah.", the boy whined, sobbing now. "MAMA!", he cried, figuring if his dad was mad, maybe he could lure his mother into believing he wasn't the bad guy, but his father was.

"You've got that figured out, huh?", the redhead felt provoked by the baby, glad his wife was staying out of this, acting as if she wasn't even aware of the drama happening at the table and focusing on the other children. "Here, eat!", he said, putting half of a banana onto the twin-boy's plate, so he could have it.

"Mommy, I'm done.", Leo said, after putting his spoon into the not completely empty bowl. "I don't want this anymore.", he explained softly, not really the hungry type in the mornings.

"Alright Honey, that's okay.", Amelia responded and kissed his head. "I want you to go upstairs and brush your teeth after washing your hands. And after that, you pick one toy to take to pre-school today. But show me first."

"I'll come with you.", Logan decided, informing his parents that he was done as well. "You too?", he asked Layla, who shook her head, extra hungry this morning. "Okay then.", he chuckled and let Leo grab his hand.

"No!", Lucas yelled again, throwing his food back on his plate. His sisters were done eating, so his parents got up to take Luna upstairs with Layla following them, leaving the boy at the table by himself, which he didn't like either, so he started sobbing again.

"I think I'm gonna lose it.", the neurosurgeon announced to her husband. "Take them upstairs and make sure everyone is getting ready, please.", she said, waiting at the bottom of the stairs out of her baby's sight.

"DADA, MAMA!", the one-year-old screamed for dear life, watching his mother come back to lift him out of his chair. "Mama...", he mumbled sadly, clinging to his mother, who comforted him in her arms.

"Mama is here, Honey.", the brunette promised. "What's going on with you? Why are you all crazy and cranky all of a sudden?", she questioned sadly, rubbing his back. "Are you going to eat this now or not?", she asked one last time, pointing at the banana in front of them.

"Yeah.", the mini redhead sniffled in her arms and grabbed the fruit from his mom once she handed it to him. While he finally ate something for breakfast, Amelia cleaned the table.

"Mama, I'm ready.", Layla told her mother, walking into the living room with her school bag. She was wearing a sweater her grandma had knitted for her a while ago. "Look at my outfit!"

"Wow, you look so cute!", Amelia's face lit up and she walked over to kiss her daughter's head. "So, are you happy to see Sadie and your other friends today, Baby?", she started a conversation, feeling guilty because she hadn't really had a chance to talk earlier.

"Yeah, very much.", the seven-year-old answered and giggled cutely. "I'll give Eleanor a snack.", she decided since the husky would have to stay home today again because none of them had their days off, although the brunette felt like she could just bring her to work in her office, but she had to ask Naomi first.

"Good idea. But don't give her too many, she just had breakfast. I'm gonna get your brother ready for the day now.", her mother responded. "Daddy will be down in a few minutes, I think.", she added.
