"Okay Girls, put on your pajamas and then you can come back downstairs to watch the movie.", Amelia told her daughter and her best friend since they were having the sleepover they had asked for.

"Mom?", Logan came downstairs from a phone call with Atlas. Owen was upstairs with Leo, getting him ready for the movie. "Can I talk to you about something?", he wondered, seemingly nervous.

"Sure?", the brunette replied, scanning him with her eyes, trying to find out if he was okay or not. "What's up?", she wanted to know, handing her son two bottles of juice to put onto the coffee table for the kids to drink.

"I think you're gonna say no.", the teenager sighed, unsurely glancing at the ground. He didn't really wanna ask if she wasn't going to say yes anyway. That would just make him sad and all he wanted to be was excited.

"Try me, Honey.", his mother challenged him softly and finally sat down on the couch with him, waiting for the three younger kids and her husband to come back downstairs for the movie.

"Well, I just thought...since Valentine's is in four days and Seattle is only a two-hour flight...maybe I could spend next weekend with Atlas. I could sleep at Uncle Derek's and...and...I just wanna have some time with my boyfriend.", he mumbled.

"I think that is a great idea and that you should go.", his father answered from behind him, holding the toddler's hand. His wife looked a little unsure since their child was only thirteen. "We are going to take you to the airport as far as they'll let us and then your aunt and uncle will pick you up in Seattle. You will call us each day and text us in the evenings, so we know everything's alright. But you are almost fourteen and I know that you're responsible enough, Logan."

"THANK YOU, DAD!", the happy young brunette exclaimed and embraced his father, who was looking at Amelia for her to say something as well. Owen knew they could trust Logan and that Derek would handle everything in Seattle.

"It's a great idea. I'm gonna call Atlas' parents and your aunt tomorrow.", the neurosurgeon finally allowed it as well. Her husband was right, Logan was a super responsible kid, and he wasn't begging for many things, so it was only fair to grant him the opportunity of seeing his boyfriend around Valentine's.

"Uh, I've already texted them to ask if they'd be fine with taking care of me over the weekend if you agreed to do let me fly to Seattle.", the thirteen-year-old admitted with a huge grin. "Of course, they said yes.", he shared. "Thank you, Mama!", he also told his mother and hugged her tightly as well.

"We're here!", Layla and Sadie announced and took their seats next to each other. Logan was on his own couch with Eleanor and his parents shared the third one with Leo, who was sitting in his mother's lap.

Owen wrapped his arm around his wife to rest his temple against hers before he kissed the four-year-old's head and grabbed one of Leo's snacks, which made the little boy giggle as he leaned back to glance up at his dad.

"Sometimes, I think I am the one that's too uptight.", Amelia informed her husband once she climbed into bed with him after they had brought the children to bed. "You just believed in Logan and never thought about it twice while I had so many scenarios running through my mind."

"I think that sometimes we'll just have to trust our children although we love to protect them, but maybe they don't always need protection, Babe.", the redhead explained. "Our son is smart and it's not like we're sending him on some trip around the world. He'll only be by himself during the flight and then your brother or Meredith are gonna be waiting for him."

"You're right, you're so right.", his wife realized and nodded. "Leo was so sad about missing the ending of the movie, but I loved that he fell asleep in my lap and arms like he used to as a baby.", she pouted.

"I could see how much you enjoyed the snuggle-party.", the trauma surgeon chuckled. "He'll be fine, we told him the ending as a good night story and he'll be able to watch the movie again one day.", he reassured her. "So, now that we've spend some time with Sadie, what do we think about her?"

"She's so sweet.", the brunette responded. "I always thought she was as fierce as our Layls, but today I've realized she's quieter but not silent. She seems to genuinely like Layla, no matter if she's too much sometimes. And Sadie is funny. They just match. Do you like her?"

"Totally. They were laughing so much together, but I also love how Sadie doesn't let Layla dominate her all the time, even though she seems to be the dominant one of the two of them.", her husband said.

"What I also loved was how happy she was to see so many redheads at once.", the neurosurgeon pointed out, smiling at the memory. "I'm glad Layla has found such a great friend. Especially since she was so sad about having found nobody after her first day of school."

"Me too.", Owen agreed, turning on the TV since they would stay awake for a while longer. They had some TV-shows to continue watching, but once he started kissing his wife, they weren't really concentrating on anything else anyway. "No sex though, not with a visitor in the house.", he winked at Amelia, who pouted again, but nodded and kissed her husband another time.
