Pressured to wear makeup

Dear Alex, 

I'm 12 years old and starting 7th grade in a few weeks. I recently talked to my friend and she kept asking me are you going to wear make up. I said no then she kept pressuring me saying "why won't you? You need a new look and you'll pretty with make up on." The thing is I don't want to wear make up to feel pretty. What should I do?

P.S. I wear lip gloss/Chapstick just so I won't have dry lips also tons of girls in my grade last year wore make up

Dear The girl with a plain face,

I think that you shouldn't fall to peer pressure. Just tell your friend that it's your face and you will do what you want to do with it. Or in a nicer term.. just tell her it's just not you. It's fine not to wear makeup and a lot of boys like a girl who don't wear any makeup. Natural beauty is always best! If you feel pressured, have the will to be who you are. Don't get sucked in to what everyone is doing okay? Be differen't and be you :D
