Dear Alex,
i have no frieends i just moved to a new place a couple of weeks ago and i dont really have any friends some people try to be my friend but i just too shy i do have one friend but shes just...too truthful and some of the things she says really hurt my feelings,please tell me how i can make more friends and also what i should do with my other "friend" i really have no idea please help

Dear deperete loner,
So this is the first flaw of making friends. You are shy... Either your going to have to meet friends that aren't or your going to initiate a hi...I would think that getting friends is easy, you just start off a conversation with someone. To pick the right ones, you should find friends with the same interests that you have. Say you like art then hang with people that are in your art class and really like it too. Sometimes you can resolve your friend issue accidently when you bumb into someone in the hall or talk to someone in the lunch line.
I would just ignore the girl or tell her upfront that I don't appriciate you hurting my feelings. I believe you should be just as truthful back or just make it seem like your friendship is drifitng.
