The Girl.

Raul's testimony.

Fiona got her phone out of her handbag , called doctor Tatiana ,Tatiana answered and asked her whether she had heard anything from Manuel yet .

"I'm here at his house doctor", she replied.

"Is he really there ?"

"Yes doctor and am calling to let you know that we're here with Raul ."

"Raul !, you mean the Raul who is supposed to testify against Baragan ?"

"That's right doctor , we're here with him ."

"Okay Fiona , i hope you can keep him waiting there , am calling Colonel Alzate and we will be right there in a few minutes ."

"We're waiting", she got off from her phone .

In about ten minutes , colonel Alzate and doctor Tatiana were already at Manuel's apartment, knocked , Manuel opened the door for them ,welcomed them in and introduced Raul to them .

Tatiana asked Manuel where he had disappeared from because she'd been looking for him like crazy for the past few days , told her that a lot of things had happened especially now that he knows he has a child and above it all, he went out there to look for Raul who he knew would be of a great help in the case they're trying to build up against Baragan, she thanked him for bringing Raul and asked him where the baby was , told her that he left the baby with Ms Meriya , for Raul , he didn't like the idea that the colonel came with him, three soldiers waiting outside , it felt like he was under arrest , he asked the colonel whether they were to arrest him , Alzate assured him that he wasn't arresting anyone , he was only gathering information that was to help him with the case against Baragan , listening to that from the colonel , made Raul relax a little .

"So now are you willing to help us ?" Tatiana asked.

"I just don't know how this will help ."

"Don't worry about that , tell us what you know about Baragan and the rest will be up-to us ."

"But do we really need that camera before me ", he pointed at a camera that colonel Alzate was preparing .

"Of course we do Raul." Fiona spoke up . "This will clarify everything before the judges ."

"Okay then I will tell you everything I know about Baragan right from the day when we were ambushed , that day the commander had sent us to an operation somewhere around the Cali Villages , am sure Tabna remembers all about that ."

"Yeah I remember that Operation but go on."

"Unfortunately that wasn't a success , we were ambushed by colonel Baragan's men , he arrested us ,tied us up somewhere separately , the boys alone and the girls alone , I don't know how he got to know that the commander was thinking of nominating Alias Tabna has his successor , he first asked the girls who Alias Tabna was , none of the girls were willing to break the code of honor , when he failed to get an answer from them, he came to boys' side , asked who could tell him who Alias tabna was , none of us agreed to that ,then he began killing us one by one ,whenever he asked you that question and you didn't give an answer , he pulled the trigger of his handgun and killed you, we were two left of the boys he had as P.O.Ws , it was my turn , he asked me to tell him who Alias Tabna was , I refused , he asked again , i refused to tell him but when he promised me my life if I told him who Tabna was and the fact that I've seen all my comrades dying , I had no choice but to tell him the truth ,he kept his promise and spared my life but he killed the last person after me , he left where he was keeping us leaving me alone with the others dead , and from then I never got to hear from him again till now that you're asking me to testify against him ."

"That's great Raul but before I turn off this camera , i want you to answer my question , you know if this evidence is shown before the court martial , Baragan might claim that it's fabricated to jeopardize him , so answer my question , why are you coming out now to testify against him now ?" Colonel Alzate asked , before he could put down the camera .
