In Choco .

Manuel had a surprise for Fiona , he had decided to keep it a secret from her till he was done preparing for it and this was a vacation in Villa de Leyva , in the process of preparing for the vacation . Manuel went to a mall and bought a black conservative dress and a pair of sandals for her , getting back home , he was surprised to find her packing , asked her where she was going .

"Haven't you watched the television yet Manuel?" She asked . "There was a landslide in Choco, we've been asked to volunteer , so I have to join others right away ."

"Can't you stay ?"

"To do what? There are people suffering in that area , as a medical student , it's my duty to go there and help . I think the weather is changing ," She looked outside through a window. " Manuel sorry. I have to go now ." She stepped out of the house .

"I think you're simply running away Fiona , you don't want to fall in love , the problem is your heart , you don't want to give yourself a chance to love someone , you're always caring about others , you're not giving yourself a chance to be taken care of ."

"What are you talking about ?" She looked confused . "People are out there suffering and it's my duty to help , this is what am studying to do Manuel ."

"It's over Fiona . I can not do this anymore . I can not do my best to keep you around any longer ." He went back inside the house without telling her what his plan was for her .

Fiona couldn't comprehend what had just happened ,thought he was a little upset that she was leaving , went to the university from where she had to meet with the others , had to talk to her mother first and say goodbye , her mother had already resumed with her work at the university.

"Mom. I also wanted to let you know that Manuel and I couldn't agree on this trip ,i left him upset ,am sure he broke up with me but please take good care of him , even though he's mad at me .I still care about him ."

"I don't know whether I'll be able to take care of him since there is a cute girl around him , you remember Melisa ? They do the same job , she has a child too , seems both are from a same circle , they understand each others' problems but don't worry child , go out there and do what you're best at , if Manuel is yours , he'll wait for you to come back and the two of you will be happy for ever and after."

For Manuel back in his apartment , he closed the door and went to pick up his child from Melisa's mother's house , having got the child ,on his way out . Melisa came and asked him what happened to the trip he was going to have , told her that he had to cancel it since Fiona was traveling away from Bogota . Melisa felt sorry for him and asked him if they could have a drink later in the day for him to cool down . Manuel thought it would be a great idea and agreed to pick her up after taking Isabella to bed .

The one who was traveling away from Bogota joined Natalia . Anderson and Rodrigo into the chopper that was waiting on their way to Choco , before the chopper could take off from the ground , professor Ignasia came running shouting to them not to leave him behind . "Oh come on doctor , doctor Alfonso gave me a permission and besides we're all here to help ,isn't that right doctor ?"

"All right get in ." Anderson realized it was Ignasia's duty as a doctor to help those in need of medical assistant , held his hand to help him get on board .
