Before Fiona could take her trip to Choco , she had asked her parents to take care of Ramon since his father was arrested , no one was to look after him , he was to stay in the house all by himself . Fiona's parents promised to do so and on that very day when she left for Choco . Miguel ,his wife and the girls came for Ramon that evening , the doctor had discharged him . Miguel told him that he was to start living with them till a relative of his come for him . Ramon thanked them for allowing him stay with them .Monica was more delighted about this because this as a great opportunity to have him near , still on his hospital bed .Nina asked him if he really couldn't live in the house all by himself , he seemed to be a big boy .

"And who says he will live in the house all by himself ?" A voice of a steaming teapot from an old lady came from the doorway .

Ramon was very excited to see the winter white haired woman , he last saw her when he was about five years , asked her how she got to Bogota and who had told her where he was .

"How can you ask me about how I got to Bogota my lovely grandchild ? Of course by a bus silly , your father in jail was given a chance to make a call , he called to my house in Suesca , told me about how stupid he had gone by beating you up , he wasn't so sure about which hospital you were taken to but he talked about a very disgraceful family you're close to that had a daughter working and studying at San Pedro Hospital and it had to take me all the thirty five miles to get here , you can imagine all that I've went through with all my luggage to get here at my old age ."

"Ah , excuse us Ms . I guess we're the disgraceful family." Miguel tried to introduce his family to the lady . "We came here to take care of your grandchild like we've been doing for the past two days , something your son who is in jail couldn't do ."

"Thank you for everything sir , but starting from now . I'll be the one living with my grandchild till his father comes back and if that fool comes back he's going to start respecting his son ."

"That's great mum." Meriya spoke up . "But if I may ask , are you going to pay for the hospital bills ?"

"No not at all , that's your responsibility , didn't you choose to take care of him like you've been doing for the past two days ?"

"I thought   ....." Before she could reply to her . Miguel tapped her to stop her and told the old woman that they were to pay for the hospital bills .

"Like mother like son ." Nina murmured ,her mother made a ' shhhh!' sound accompanied by a finger on her lips.

Miguel and his family helped the old lady and his grandchild prepare to leave the hospital , also paid the bills and getting outside the hospital . Miguel called for the taxi and when the taxi came , he asked her if she was to take a different taxi , she strongly said 'No' , told them that she was to sit in the same taxi with them , the Bustamantes were disturbed with the old lady's behavior but chose to comply with whatever she says since she was the eldest among them , the six of them entered the same taxi , reaching Chucho's house . Miguel helped to get the old lady's luggage from the boot , to the door of the house . Monica and Nina helped Ramon get inside the house as their mother stood right out of the taxi holding their brother in her hands ,after taking Ramon's clothes that were in the bag and the old lady's luggage at the door , the taxi driver asked for his fee . Miguel asked the old lady to pay .

"What are you thinking Mr ? I didn't call for a taxi , you did , at my old age , do you think I can have the money to pay for a cab ? You're the younger ones here , you pay the man ." She wagged her way to the house .

"I think we're going to have another big problem dad , we got rid of Chucho , now we have someone from whom he inherited his greed ." Nina lamented .
