After a meeting she had with Ignasia in the hallway .Fiona went back and joined her friends at the cafeteria , later the three went for classes and after classes . Fiona decided to make a call to doctor Tatiana to let her know that she was already out of the hospital and recovering . Tatiana was happy for her and asked if she could come over to her office , she also had something to tell her . Fiona asked what it was all about , told her it was a surprise , she then agreed to stop by as soon as possible .
Tatiana thought to herself after talking to Fiona that she could not prepare something big with only Fiona . Manuel had to be a part of it too , scrolled through her phone contacts again and found his number , tapped on it and called . Manuel answered , she asked him if he could stop by at 6pm . Manuel agreed to do so . Melissa whom he was with asked him who that was he was supposed to meet at 6pm.
"A close friend of mine , she's a doctor , doctor Tatiana . I wonder if you remember a doctor who turned down a colonel's marriage proposal during a baptism party at ms Meriya's house !"
" I think I remember her now , but what happened ? Why did she do that to the colonel ?"
"I can not tell you because I don't have any details about that and besides ,that's more personal , however I've ever seen something like this before ,it happened to a friend of mine back then at St Mary's ." Remembered his days at the orphanage .
"So are you going to the doctor ?"
"Of course am going . I need to know what good news she has for me ."
At around 6pm . Manuel was already at Tatiana's office , the two began their conversation by talking about how Manuel was doing as they waited for Fiona to show up , told her about how he got an extra job at 'meals on wheels' , talked about how Melissa's mother had been of great help in taking care of the child , his target was to have his own business . Tatiana encouraged him that he was to have it if he continued working hard , told him how much she was proud of him, later Fiona knocked on the door and came in , before she could sit down , she saw Manuel already sited inside , tried to leave cause she felt uncomfortable around him but Tatiana asked her to stay , she wanted to talk to the both of them . Fiona sat down to listen to what she had to say .
"Well guys, the reason why I wanted to have you both here is to give you the news that am getting married to Alzate ." Her eyes widened and grinned wider .
"Wait , what ?" Fiona in surprise stood up . "How did this happen ? I thought you turned him down."
"Congratulations doctor ." Manuel smiled .
"Thank you Manuel , it's a long story Fiona , initially I turned him down because I was still married to a jerk who disappeared just after the day of our wedding , that jerk came back a few days a ago and start giving me a hard time ,refusing to give me a divorce , wanting to take all my money but thanks to colonel Alzate who went throughout the background of that jerk and managed to find out that he got married to drug trafficker's daughter , the drug trafficker was looking for him, quite a long story but I managed to get rid of him and here he proposed again . I said 'yes' and at the end of this week it is my wedding ."
"I can not believe it you went through all that doctor , though I don't understand , what are the two of us are doing here ?" Manuel asked. "You know you can always count on our support but this seem like something special for the both of us ."
"The reason why I called you two it's because . I met colonel Alzate on the day I met you two especially you Fiona , am sure you remember the life we shared here at St Mary's , am asking for a favour from both of you . Manuel I want you to prepare for us the best wedding cake ever . I know this is your specialty Mr Baker ." She smiled .
