"How did she come to have all this mercury in her body?"

At the police station , a guard came and opened Chucho's cell , told him that he was free to go , his bail was cleared , in disbelief , after signing the release form .Chucho ran out of the police station like someone was after him , thinking about the possibility of the police officers putting him back inside the jail , he rushed out on his way back to his neighborhood, before he could even stop by at his house , went through the people of the neighborhood ,whoever saw him was surprised to see him back on streets and to tell a few to back off , he asked them whether they've seen a ghost or something , and among those he thought he owed money ,told them to pay what he owe them , those who were cowards and afraid of him payed him though some didn't actually owe him anything , those who were brave enough faced him and told him he owes them nothing and it's them who owed him money , he asked how it is possible , they told him about how an old lady who claimed to be his mother came around at their houses with papers that showed that he owed them some money , they paid the debts to the old lady who asked for more to help her get him out of jail .

"If you don't believe me , ask the lawyer who helped you get out of jail." One of resident said . "She came around here with him and asked for the money , so I owe you but not you owing me anything ."

"That old lady and her scums , am going to throw her out of my house ." Chucho wore an angry face and left on his way to his house .

"Don't forget am also coming for you Mr Chucho." The woman raised her voice at him as he faded away.

Getting at his house , found the door open , his mother was in the lounge room baby sitting Leonardito , she was happy to see him though she first remained dumbstruck on seeing him standing in the door way ,her son had asked her whether she had seen a ghost or something , she laughed and asked him what was so special about him that made him extra-ordinary , also asked him why he didn't make a call so that they could pick him up .

"Mother you very well knew that I was getting out today , but because of your selfishness , you decided to stay here with that stupid child. I believe it's from the Butsamantes . I don't care mother but ...."

"But nothing Gonzalez ." She mentioned his other name almost no one knew about . "Don't tell me you expected me to leave this little boy alone inside the house of the Bustamantes as they went out to attend a wedding of their friend , what happened to love your neighbor as you love yourself ?" She continued.

"Mother , don't lecture me about the Bustamantes , you have no idea how those people have mistreated me , they're evil and cheaters." He sat down for a serious talk with her . "All I want right now is for you to go back to Suesca . I don't want to see you around my house anymore."

"Oh poor thing , you don't know yet ? This house is no longer yours from now onward , from what you did to my grandson . I've already signed an agreement with notary to protect my grandson from you and that means this house belongs to me and my grandson , you don' have anything here that belongs to you , if you're not careful with me. I might start charging you rent for every night you stay in this house and if you don't believe me about the matter ,you can go and ask the notary about it as longer as you're not afraid of people of this kind." She knew how unfriendly he was with law enforcers .

"You're stealing from your own son mother , aren't you even ashamed of yourself ?"

"I'm taming you , that's all am doing , if you stop bullying the people in the neighborhood and also stop laying your filthy hands on my grandson ,everything will get back to you ."

Chucho realized he couldn't win the argument with the old lady , grabbed his hand bag and went to the kitchen for a glass of water , later went for a bath and after bath ,he decided to run some errands .
