Fiona secures her job

The next morning doctor Alfonso entered his office ,talking on a phone that he couldn't even notice the people around him , he had received a call from Connie's lawyer , the lawyer was asking him to settle the difference between him and his ex-wife in a civilized manner without getting in court, Alfonso was arguing that Connie wasn't in any position to make any demands from him , she was the one who cheated not him ,upset as he was ,he didn't even realize that Fiona was already inside his office sited waiting for him , he continued his conversation on a phone ,reached out for the curtains , pulled them aside and on turning around , it's when he saw someone already inside his office , he was surprised to see her already sited in a visitor's seat just like one of those bad guys in movies who usually pays unexpected visits to those they owe money .

"Fiona !?" He immediately hanged up his phone ,looking surprised and a bit scared to see her sited , her hands on table , staring at him fiercely .

"Yeah , it's me doctor ." Calmly she replied .

"For how long have you been there ? you know you've scared me, do you usually do that on people ?" He asked . " And am sure you've heard everything ." He added .

"That's right doctor , but I assure you that your family problems it's the least of my concern ,i asked Dulcey whether you're inside , she told me you weren't and told if possible I could wait from inside here. I came here to know what's your decision about me. I promise I will respect your decision ."

"Before I tell you my decision .I want you to keep whatever you've heard to yourself ."

"You know keeping secrets it's my specialty doctor ."

"Good now that we understand each other , let's continue with these photos that are incriminating Manuel as you say ,tell me why you think these photos are fake ?" He got the file in which the photos were back on the table , gave them to her.

"That's right doctor." She started looking through the photos . "The last time I looked at them . I realized that in some photos , it showed that the photos were taken in summer and right now we're closing to winter. " She pushed some photos to his side . "If you look at these other photos you will realize that the ground around the grave is wet unlike in other photos ,though the position of the dead body is the same and this can only mean that someone is trying to frame Manuel for the death of the man in the photos ."

Still discussing about the photos .Felipe came and asked Alfonso whether he was done with what he had asked him to do , Alfonso told him , it's what they were working on at a moment .Fiona explained to him as well what she saw and thought about the photos .

"I think we have a motive in this case , if the judge can believe us , probably he can grant us a bail , you're a great girl Fiona , thank you ." Felipe appreciated .

" I'm simply doing my job attorney ." Fiona replied .

"Alright , now that I have something to start on to build this case , am going to go with these photos , show them to my colleagues and after I will show them to judge ,probably he can allow us to proceed with the investigation ." He opened the door to leave with the file in his hands .

"Thank you attorney ."

"All the best Felipe ." Alfonso wished him luck .

"I think am also done here for now doctor . I gotta get going ."

"Wait Fiona .I wanted to say , am really thankful ."

"Why ?"

"To be honest . I wouldn't have noticed that some of the photos were taken during summer and some were taken just recently if it weren't you , thank you and one more important thing , thank you for trusting me with your secret , you can also keep your job ."
