Tonight, Dayu's going to introduce his boyfriend to them. Finally!
When Dayu asked for them to do a video call instead of the normal phone called, few days ago, she already knew that it's something quiet serious.
She had been having some kind of inclinations that something's going on with Dayu, for weeks, but she couldn't pin point at them. And she certainly didn't expect that it's a matter of the heart. It's not like, she thought Dayu would find a new boyfriend so soon. Between them, Dayu had always been the one, who's the most practical and logical when it comes to the subject of love.
He had always maintain that romance wasn't for him. Even, with Liu Minzhe; Dayu accepted him because he's the son of his family's closest family friends, and because he thought that it's troublesome looking for love. Liu Minzhe was there, he had confessed to Dayu way back in middle school and their family rooted for them to be together. No hassle and no trouble. And Dayu was adamant to believe that what he felt for Liu Minzhe was love when it was nothing but misguided loyalty. They knew it. Dayu didn't. He said it's love. His kind of love. And he remained loyal for ten years. Of course, when the relationship finally ended, Dayu was hurt, even though he didn't love the man. Dayu had spent ten years, after all, thinking of only one man. Even though he didn't love him.
But, it looks like, everything had been altered for Dayu the moment he set foot in China.
In one month, Dayu got himself a boyfriend. And it changed Dayu tremendously. When Dayu was telling them about it during that video call, Dayu was making expressions they had never seen him made before.
At first, after hearing that Dayu had fallen for a superstar, and a straight man at that; of course Linda had nothing but fear in her heart. She didn't want Dayu to hurt more. And this time, Dayu loves the man he's involved with. For the first time in his life he had fallen in love. If this goes awry, Dayu would be hurt. Really hurt. And the hurt would not be like the hurt he experienced with Liu Minzhe.
