It was a circus. My family is a crazy bunch of people. Qing thought, as he cringed watching how his grandparents, parents and sister were causing a ruckus at the airport.
They're all clamoring around Dayu, and Qing could only watched with clenched teeth and annoyance which was adding up by the seconds.
He didn't want to come to the airport actually, but Dayu was adamant that they should come, and welcome Qing's family with the rest of Dayu's family.
Qing thought that at least his grandfather and father wouldn't get on his nerves because he knew that the Wang women would; but he was wrong. They're all getting on his nerves.
Why? They're all over Dayu; hugging him unnecessarily long, and then they were also kissing him (though on the cheeks) which made Qing squirm in distaste and jealousy. They were content with just hugging Dayu back in China but in Canada, they suddenly upgraded their greeting into kissing.
Qing threw a desperate look at his cousin who came with his boyfriend and then at Dayu's best friends, Jin and Aiden but it's not like they could do anything about it either. Nevertheless, his cousin did try to help him.
"Dayu ah..!" Wang Yu tried to pull Dayu away from the Wang family, with the pretext of greeting him too, in his attempt to lend a helping hand to Qing; but his attempt was quickly overturned by Qing's sister's sharp knowing look. She latched her hands around Dayu's hand, beaming a smile at Dayu but snarled at Wang Yu, and then at Qing.
