"Guys...Uhm..Dayu and I would like to invite you for dinner at the apartment, tonight..."
Qiushi turned to Qing sharply. They had been trying to get an invitation to go drinking from Qing for weeks now, to no avail.
Then he looked at Cai Zhao, questioningly. Cai Zhao just merely raised his shoulders, indicating that he also had no idea what's going on in Qing's mind. Hiro and Aroon, focused their sight on Qing, waiting for him to continue.
And Qing had been absent from most of their outings as a band now; he'd rather spent the free time with his wifey (as Qing called Dayu when Dayu was not around) rather than going out. Well, they actually wanted Qing to take Dayu with him, for the drinking session, but upon hearing it, Qing's face turned as dark as the night without the moon and he'd scowled at them.
They thought that it's Qing's possessive streak again, because ever since Dayu was diagnosed to have that special condition, Qing had been guarding over Dayu more fiercely than before.
Nobody else knew about it, though, except for their family and friends, for the time being, but still Qing instinctively went on the overprotective mode; not that he was not overprotective before. He's worse now. Though, they all understood Qing's nervousness. They all get it as to why he's like that. Anybody who had a male partner and then be told that his male partner could give him children in the most natural way possible, would be over the moon at first and then it'd propel them into high alert. Dayu isn't like them, after all. That's why, they never questioned Qing or anything.
