Dayu looked at his mother and grandmother, with narrowed eyes.
It's now, ten at night, and none of his family, had excused themselves to go to bed yet. And Dayu knew, exactly why.
After arriving this morning, they went straight back home, and had their fun talk at Dayu's home; Mark and Linda who both had took a day off too was there with them.

They prepared food for lunch together; and it was a good think that two of Dayu's family members are restauranteurs, hence the kitchen was one of the biggest room in their house. So, it could accommodate all of them in it.
Of course Dayu's mother and Linda, being the least experienced and the least talent in cooking settled for the roles of being supervisors.
"That's a fine looking chopped onion.." Qing, leaned over Dayu's shoulder peeking at what Dayu was cutting.
"Thank you..." Dayu replied, smiling, "I've been practising for three months now..I would have been such a poor student if I couldn't even cut onion properly.." Dayu thought about it then amended, "either I'm a bad student or I have a bad teacher..."
Qing looked at his beloved, knowing full well who Dayu's teacher was; it's none other than him. They'd been living together for months and in those months, Dayu had been helping out in the kitchen whenever they cooked at home. Dayu wasn't actually so bad at cooking but, he's not that 'meticulous' in cutting the ingredients.
