Qing faced his sister head on , deliberately stretching his 193cm frame, with defined biceps and triceps, to the maximum, as he put his hands in front of his chest. He raised his eyebrows with full intent to intimidate at his sister in front of him.
Jiyi was only 167cm tall, and though she's considered tall for a girl; she's no match for her overgrown brother. And in truth, she couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by Qing, when he faced her with such intense anymosity. Damn! She cursed. How she longed for the time when Qing was in primary school ; that was the last time, in which she was still taller than her little brother. She's the one who intimidated hee brother at that time. Now, the table's turned.
"It's not for men." Jiyi huffed, tilting her head to glare at Qing, bravely.
"Says who? Is there any law that forbid men to attend!?" Qing glared back at Jiyi.
Qing would not be denied. Not this time.
It was a fight that Qing's determined to win at all cost. He would not lose.
Jiyi huffed, pretending that she wasn't in the least intimidated by her little brother's looming figure, "so, what are you going to do there ? Open up the diapers? Learn how to wash milk bottles?" She sneered, "because we sure as hell would not have beers or anything like that!"
Qing clicked his tongue, in exasperation, "and who would asked for beers during such occasion? Am I that stupid to you?" Qing sneered back, "and you say, that it's not for men..Then what about Dayu, then? He's a man too, isn't he?"
The families; Qing's side and Dayu's side, were all sitting on the couches, watching the ultimate showdown between the two siblings. They looked at one to the other as the two bickered and faced off each other.
"That's.." Jiyi paused searching for words, then she continued, "Dayu's an exception..! This is his baby shower after all..! Of course he would be there....!!" Jiyi said tersely , heaving angrily.
"Well- it's our baby. Dayu's and mine." Qing said equally pissed off, "it's our baby shower...!"
Dayu was now almost six and a half months pregnant; and suddenly his sister proposed that they should throw a baby shower for Dayu.
It's the perfect time to have a baby shower; Dayu's pregnancy was very evident nowadays and his family was also all here. Both family, Qing's side and Dayu's side as well as their close friends, couldn't wait to shower Dayu with gifts; For Dayu and especially for the baby.
But, Jiyi proposed something that Qing couldn't and would never be able to agree.
His snakey sister wanted the baby shower to be an all-ladies occasion. And that means, he wouldn't be invited to his own child's baby shower!?!? It's unforgivable. Qing wasn't about to let that happen.
"I am attending...!" Qing stood his ground, "there's no way in hell that I would miss my own child's baby shower..." he said though gritted teeth.
