"He's a professor!?"
"You're kidding, right??"
"How old is he, again? Twenty-five?"
"Lei! We almost pranked a professor!!"
Zhang Lei, Captain of the university basketball team, smirked at his team mates.
They were hanging around at their usual corridor when he saw a figure of a man running from the end of the hall way. He was easy to spot because he was quite tall. He looked so distressed, glancing at his wrist watch, as he ran, efficiently avoiding collision with the students standing or walking down the hall way.
He had never seen the man before, being a third year University student, he thought he would have at least seen all the students the university at least once. Even though he didn't know their names, but he would still remember their faces. But it was his first time seeing the man who's coming pass them in about a moment.
Suddenly, Lei had a sudden impulse to see the running man, stop at any cost necessary even if he had to make him fall if necessary.
He turned to his friends, "you wanna see that guy fall?" He asked.
"How?" This is the first day of school, and the been on a holiday for two months so they missed pranking people. All of them had been looking at the same running figure because he seemed to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
Lei smirked before he rolled the ball towards where the man was about to run, and her saw the man noticed the ball but instead of panicking and falling down, avoiding the ball; the man stepped on the wall before leaping quiet far ahead, landing perfectly on his feet, and that feat caught the eyes of many of the students at the hall way. The man didn't seem to realised it though. He did stop a while just to look at his wrist watch again before dashing away again.
And Lei was then left with his heart beating so fast against his chest. Like he told his friend then, someone fell but it wasn't the man. It was him.
And he started to investigate about the man immediately. Sending his friends, not these for guys though because he didn't want to alarm them, all over the university and asking his juniors, to help him gather information.
