"Really?" Linda sounded so pleased, just as expected.
"Yes..." Dayu sighed. It was a coincident that Linda called, when he and Qing were at the mall, doing their grocery shopping.
Linda was shocked because she knew that Qing's such a big star in China that it's not easy for them to go out even to eat, let alone go for grocery shopping. In fact, in the one and a half year that Qing and Dayu had been together, Linda hadn't heard of the couple going for shopping together while they're in China.
So, hearing that Qing took Dayu for a grocery shopping, was pleasantly surprising.
"So, your husband..Did he booked the mall just for the two of you then..?"
Dayu frowned, "of course not." Dayu said laughing a little, "this is The Place, one of the biggest shopping malls in Beijing, I don't think he could afford booking the whole shopping mall for us.." and even if, Qing could afford it, Dayu wouldn't want it. It felt pretty stupid to book the whole shopping malls just so that they could have their grocery shopping. That's just plain stupid and arrogant.
"So..How are guys doing your shopping?" Linda asked, feeling very curious as to how a top superstar would go shopping, with his partner.
"We shop like everyone else does.." Dayu answered, "with the addition of security guards..That's all..."
Yes, Qing had to report to the Police Headquarter of the Sanlitun Chaoyang Precint about their whereabouts for today, and he also informed the malls' administration office before they came today. Hence, the police were actually standing by and so were the malls' security officers. Just in case if the situation got out of hands.
Qing took with him about ten security guards too, who would be guarding them as they went about their shopping at The Place. It was not impossible for superstars to go out and do their shopping, openly; it's just a little complicated than normal people. Hence, a lot of them opted to do their shopping online, or do it quietly, by masquerading or concealing their identities.
Dayu was surprised when Qing told him that they'd be visiting The Place that evening to go shopping. They came home a little after four pm and then took a simple bath, before Qing drove them to The Place. His security guards were already waiting there when they arrived. And of course, Qing's manager was also there too, with his boyfriend; though nobody caught up with that fact. They probably thought that Zhang Lei was just another staff of the studio company. And Wang Yu and Zhang Lei didn't even walk with Qing and Dayu, deciding to do their own thing while they're at the mall.
