"When was the first time you met each other?"
Qing sighed, biting back exasperation but, he knew there's no way around this. He would have to participate or who knows what his sister might decide to do next.
For now; she's satisfied with making Qing participate in a quiz about his relationship with Dayu; promising 'prizes' if the answer he gave is the same with what Dayu gave. According to her, Dayu too would be participating in the same quiz at his home, conducted by his friends. His phone was confiscated before the quiz, as his sister didn't trust him. She suspected that he would call Dayu to co ordinate their answers.
His sister sure is too bright sometimes; she's extra sharp when it comes to her favourite person; Dayu.
"We met at 12 noon, 18 February in a cab in front of the Beijing International Airport."
Jiyi looked at her brother a little taken aback by Qing's very thorough answer.
"What is Dayu's favourite colour...?"
"He used to really loved purple.." he answered and then he grinned, "but lately, he seemed to really love green and blue.."
Jiyi frowned, she had seldom heard of people changing their favourite colour, so she's curious, "and why is that?"
"Because blue reminds him of me..Qing; blue..green..." Qing said smugly.
Jiyi's eyes narrowed; she should have expected such answer from her brother. It's so like him; so full of himself.
"The colour of his bow tie, tomorrow?"
"White..I'm not too sure it'll be a bow tie though..Maybe something close between a bow tie and a necktie.."
Jiyi frowned, "that's so much details, are you sure you haven't seen each other's tuxedos?" Jiyi asked suspiciously. From the information she got, Qing and Dayu did went for their measurement and first discussion together with Raj Singh, the owner of The Bespoke Tailor shop in Toronto Canada. But after that; they'd went for their fitting in a different room; not looking at each other's tuxedo.
"I haven't seen his tuxedo..But, I have a hunch that Dayu wouldn't wear a normal bow tie.." they'd actually had a discussion about what to wear with their tuxedo; a bow tie, or a tie or simply ditch them and came without any. Then, Qing came across a unique neck piece; a cross between a tie and a bow, he immediately imagined Dayu wearing it. Dayu wasn't too keen though; being not exactly anti-fashion but more or less a traditional minded one. But, Dayu had seen, how much he wanted to see Dayu wearing that neck piece. Dayu hadn't exactly said that he will, but Qing would go with his gut instinct.
"Dayu's favourite food..?"
"Disanxian..Meat...and everything I cook.." and again that smug smile: it annoyed Jiyi so much she pretended to gag.
