"Ma...I'm going to China..." Liu Minzhe told his mother that night.
"When?" His mother asked, "what did the Feng said? Did you managed to meet with your mother in law?" Dayu's mother great always been her son's biggest ally. Of course, she was very hurt when Minzhe did what he did, but as Minzhe now had came back his senses, there's no reason for her to be hurt anymore. Yet, she had been adamantly refusing to see her son for days and she was even refusing meet her.
"Yes..I met her this morning. And the only thing she said was..they cannot say anything, not unless I met with Dayu first..."
Madam Liu blinked then nodded, at least she's responding now, "that's good then. She's not shunning you completely anymore. Ma think you're going to get together soon." She nodded, feeling confident, "so, when are going to see Dayu? Should ma come with you?"
Liu Minzhe thought for a moment then he said, "There will be a public holiday on Qingming Festival, there. I think it's better if I met Dayu during that time. We would have more time to be together...."
"Qingming? The day after tomorrow?"
"Yes, but I'll be flying over tomorrow night... So that I would there, on first day the holiday." Liu Minzhe had already planned his moves when he came to China. He'd surprise Dayu. Dayu might not want to see him first but if he's persistent and he showed him that he's really truly sorry, surely Dayu would forgive him.
Didn't Dayu forgave him when he knew that he had been deliberately alienating Dayu from the rest of his classmates all through middle school and high school? Yes. He did. Didn't Dayu forgave him when he knew that he had had sex friends on the sides ever since middle school even though he and Dayu were already a couple back then? Yes. He did. Dayu forgave him for everything and even accepted his proposal.
Yes, his latest mishap might be a little serious than the mishaps he had done in the past, but surely Dayu would be able to forgive him? He'd show to Dayu that he really regretted what he had done. He would even promised Dayu that he would never touched another person from now on.
