"You're still mad..?" Qing looked at Dayu in surpise , when Dayu pushed his face away when Qing tried to kiss him.
Dayu met Qing's eyes unflinchingly, "mad..?" Then, he removed his hands from around Qing's body, and took a step back, "who's mad?"
Qing didn't expect that Dayu would do what he did, that he didn't tighten his hold on Dayu. And as a result, Dayu slipped away from his arms.
Dayu wiped off his remaining years, and sniffed as he turned away and opted to go and sat down on the chair in front of the dressing table; facing Qing coolly by then.
Qing's heart, which just a few minutes earlier was in relief as he and Dayu hugged, immediately constricted and became scared again.
"Dayu ah.." Qing sat down on the edge of the bed, facing Dayu, who's sitting with obvious 'angry' aura on the chair, "I am really sorry...Please...Don't be mad anymore..." he wanted to take Dayu's hands but Dayu was giving him the 'stay away' warning look and Qing knew better than to try to touch Dayu in this stance. He had already done too many things which didn't sit right with his beloved at the moment. He's not going to risk doing more.
"Who said I'm mad..? I'm not mad..." Dayu smiled but it was without warmth whatsoever. In fact it was so chilling that it sent shivers down Qing's spine. This is not good. Qing was scared of what's coming.
