Next morning Manik woke up first. He checked Nandini's temperature. She was having very slight fever. So he firstly quickly brushed his teeth and came down. At this time Mr Malhotra goes for walk. Seeing Manik awake so early he asked.
Mr m-tu itni jldi uth gaya?
Manik was not aware of his presence so he turned around and then looking at him Manik said.
Ma-dad.........woh.......Nandini ko bhukhar hai... toh mei bas uske liye nashta dekh rha tha.
Mr Malhotra got worried for Nandini and he asked Manik.
Mr m-dr ko bulaya tune?
Ma-nhi abhi ekdum slight fever hai......agar firse zayda hojayega toh mei dr ko bola lunga.
Mr Malhotra agreed to him and then said.
Mr m-abhi soi hai woh?
Ma-haan.....
Mr m-mei usse ek baar dekh leta ho......
Manik bobbed his head and Mr Malhotra went up in Manan's room. Manik asked the butler to make light breakfast for Nandini and he too came back in his room.
Mr Malhotra came in their room and came in to see Nandini sleeping completely covered under the duvet. He touched her forehead to check the temperature. He too felt Nandini having mild fever. By the time Manik had came back in his room. Mr Malhotra looked at him and said.
Mr m-isse thoda as bhukar hai abhi bhi......agar aisa lage toh turant dr ko bula lena.
Ma-ji.......
To give them privacy Mr Malhotra said.
Mr m-mei walk pe jata ho.......tu iska dhyan rakh........aur aaj office bhi mat jana.
Manik gave a positive answer. Mr Malhotra then came downstairs and then ordered the butlers not to let Nandini work and make whatever she demands.
After that he left for walk and Manik took a quick shower. He was done changing at the same time Nandini was waking up. Manik came beside her and caressed her forehead. Nandini looked at him and Manik wished her.
Ma-good morning.
Nandini snuggled in him and said.
Nan-good morning.
Manik then checked her temperature and kissed her head. He told her that she should eat something as she is weak and might fall more ill. Nandini agreed to him and they both sat. Manik asked her.
Ma-come I will help you to brush your teeth.
Nandini with great difficulty sat and said.
Nan-nhi.......it's okay.........mei kr lungi....... I will take a shower too........I need it.
Manik didn't wanted to argue and tire her so he said.
Ma-okay........but I am here only call me if you need any help.
Nandini agreed and got up. Manik helped her in walking and then Nandini went in. She got fresh and took a shower. The hot water helped her to feel better but after bath she was very tired.
