Nandini lighted the diya and gave puja thali to Mr Malhotra and Nandini prayed the aarti. Little little everybody did the puja and Manan ended that. Nandini did tika to everyone along with gvg them the Prasad. Once done all took blessings of god individually and then came in the living room.
Since there was time for dinner Nandini served everybody tea and snacks. After keeping everything Nandini signaled Manik and went in kitchen. Manik sneaked and came to her.
Nandini was waiting for him only. Manik came to her and immediately wrapped his hands on her waist and said.
Ma-wah aaj tum bahut ishare kr rhi ho.......kya baat hai......kya baat hai........
Nandini knew that Manik won't leave her so forcing him was a waste of time. She kept her palms on his hand and said looking at the clock watch placed in the kitchen.
Nan-dinner ko toh time hai..........abhi dad ki surprise bday party kr le. I mean the cake cutting phir dinner and all toh chalta hi rahega.
Manik moved all her hair that was in front and said.
Ma-whatever my wife says.
Saying this he kissed her cheek and Nandini blushed. Then she told him.
Nan-tum sab ko aware kar do mei cake bhar lane k liye ready krti ho.
Ma-uske liye muje bhar jana padega......hai na?
Nan-yes......
Ma-but I don't want to go.
Nan-Manik abhi in sab chizo ka time nhi hai......jao aur sab ready karvao........
Ma-nhi na...........
Nan-jao na Manikkkk.........
Meanwhile outside in living room Mr Malhotra introduced fab5 to his friends.
Mr m-aur yeh hai fab5......inko toh tumlog jante hi ho......
F-haan pata hai........mera pota purre din inke hi gaane sunta hai......Meine bhi sunne hai..... bahut hi badya gaate hai yeh log.
While in kitchen Nandini pushed Manik gently and unwillingly he left from there. He gestured everyone abt the surprise thing and all were ready. Manik came to Mr Malhotra who was talking with his friends and said.
Ma-dad ek sec.........aap se kuch baat krni thi.
Mr Malhotra looked at him and gestured yes. He got up and Manik took him at one side of the living room. He purposely made him stand that his back facing to others.
All got up and Nandini bought the cake. She came close to others while Manik was fumbling with words to keep Mr Malhotra busy. As he saw everyone he was waiting for them to start.
Gang and Mr Malhotra's friends together started singing the bday song and except from Nandini all were clapping. Hearing the noise he turned around to see what it was and saw everyone singing the bday song and clapping with Nandini holding the cake. He turned to look at Manik and saw even he was singing and clapping along with having a smile on his face.
