Ps:-it took 10 days to complete the target.........what do I say 😔.
Nandini came out with a big tray having bowls of fruit custard in it for everyone. Everybody saw her coming and were glad to eat that as well. Nandini came to Mr Malhotra first and placed the tray in front of him, with that he took one bowl.
Meanwhile manbir came out along with talking and saw Nandini was done with Mr Malhotra and was heading towards amms.
Nandini served to amms, then she was heading to other's when the kids came running to her in the excitement of seeing something in the bowl. Passing a bowls to every kid, Nandini headed further and served the elders.
By now manbir came and sat in their place. Last was Manik to whom Nandini served. There was one more bowl which was of Nandini so she told him.
Nan-take my bowl as well..........I'll be back soon.
Without a word, Manik took her bowl and was holding it. Nandini left to keep the tray on the dining table. While she was not there, cabir spoke as Manik was holding 2 bowls of fruit custard.
C-sharam kar Manik sharam kar...........ek sath do do bowl kha rha hai.........itna bhi lalach aacha nhi hai.........arey chote baccho se sikh..... dekh unhone bhi 1 hi bowl liya hai aur tu......... tch tch tch........hadh hai.........
And he was making sounds of "tch tch tch" in a shameful tone. When cabir said this everybody heard it and looked at Manik who was holding 2 bowls royally in his both the palms. Everybody knew that cabir is pulling his leg, so there was no such emotions in their eyes. While Manik replied after a moment.
Ma-tch tch tch tch............
His this words stopped cabir's tch tch and when he looked at him, Manik said.
Ma-woh kya hai na cabir..........meri biwi itna pyaar krti hai na mujse.........k woh sharmati nhi hai.........teri biwi ki tarha.........plus woh bata rhi hai........k uska haq kitna zayda hai muje pe.
When Manik took the word "haq", that is when Nandini came back, unaware about the conversation going on. She sat beside Manik as the space was empty there and then took a bowl from him.
On this moment everybody made themselves busy with their remaining talks. Nandini passed him a "thank you" smile and Manik blinked in assurance. Then they relished the sweet. Time went on and finally Murthy's decided to leave.
Everybody got up and headed to the door. Everybody met Murthy's for a good bye. Amms was talking to Nandini and she was saying.
Am-kuch dino baad........mei Malhotra sahab ko bolungi for dinner........the whole family.
Nan-okay amms.
Saying that she hugged her and soon Murthy's left. Once Murthy's were gone, the gang bade good bye to each other and left the mansion. The full laughter filled mansion was suddenly empty and silent.
It was not a matter of concern but still. Well after closing the door, Malhotra's realised that even they were tired with this dinner plan. Though it was not a complaint but after working the whole day and then entertaining the guest is a task sometimes.
