Nandini came back in kitchen after some 25 mins and the garlic breads were prefectly done. She started filling the tiffin, hurriedly, looking at the watch on every 2 mins. She placed everything in a bag and came out.
Just then Mr Malhotra came out, with a small bag having few of his essentials. He was leaving, unaware abt Nandini's presence. Nandini was on the dining area when she saw Mr Malhotra heading towards the door. Leaving the bag on the table she ran and called him.
Nan-dad!
Mr Malhotra was surprised on seeing her, he turned frowning and said/asked.
Mr m-Nandini.........tu itni jldi kyu uth gayi?
Nandini finished the distance btwn them and said.
Nan-aap jaa rhe hai........at least chai toh peete jaye.
Mr m-arey nhi nhi.........hum kisi dhabe ki chai peeyenge..........aur chai abhi banani padegi...... sab mere wait kr rhe honge.
Nan-aapki chai ready hai........aap aaye table pe.........aur dhabe ki chai bhi pee lena........ kyuki yahan se dhabe tak puch ne k liye aap ko kum se kum dhaai (2&1/2 hour) ghante lag jayenge.
Surrendering to her, Mr Malhotra walked towards the table and Nandini rushed in the kitchen, in next min she was out with a tray. She served Mr Malhotra his tea and placed 2 slices of garlic bread beside him, than she sat on Manik's place with a cup of coffee for herself to give company to Mr Malhotra for a mini breakfast.
Mr Malhotra looked at the garlic bread and he was surprised but he started eating, while eating he realised that Nandini was always like this and he forget about her habit. Anyways after few mins, Mr Malhotra's driver came and picked up that bag.
Nan-aap yeh gadi mei rakh dijiye........aur yaad se sab ko serve krna.
The driver bobbed his, smiled and left with the bag, while Mr Malhotra was just looking at the whole scene, Nandini later turned to him, knowing his confused gaze on her. Looking back at him, she softly said.
Nan-thoda nashta banaya hai.......for the journey..........toh aap log ko driver serve kr dega.
Mr Malhotra was surprised but not surprised. He smiled and they completed the mini breakfast. Then Nandini walked behind Mr Malhotra holding his bag, to see him off till the door.
As they reached the door, the guard at the door took the bag from Nandini and headed to place it in the car. Mr Malhotra turned around and bid her adieu.
Mr m-chalo bye.
Nan-bye dad.
And in the next second she bow down and touched his feet. It was so sudden that Mr Malhotra got confused for a min and he immediately said on realising about her act.

Saying the latter part, he placed his right palm on her head. After getting the blessings Nandini stood up and they exchanged smiles. Mr Malhotra turned to leave when Nandini softly called him.
