Nandini came infront of the mirror. She leaned a little on it and started moving her fingers on her face to rub off an hair that broke from her lashes, little water. She touched her vermilion a little, fixed her nupital chain properly.
She moved her fingers on her hair and set it properly on her collar bone. Then she picked up her dhuppata and wore it and set it so that it looks beautiful. Lastly she sprayed her perfume to smell good again and than moved back from the mirror.
She looked at herself completely and decided to head back. She opened the door and was about to step out of the room, that is when her phone rang and stopped her. Closing the door again, she came to the bed night stand and picked up her phone to see amms calling. She immediately received it and started talking to amms.
They exchanged pleasantries and asked about each other's health. Then their conversation started. Sensing that the call might not end soon, Nandini sat comfortably on the bed and continued talking.
Amms asked her, what she was doing, and then Nandini told her about the Sunday plan and the guest. They kept on talking and catching up things. Amms told her about renovation and all. Like this they were talking and 25 mins had passed by.
After 25 mins, Nandini saw Manik entering the room. He asked her who it was and she said it's amms on the other side. He just bobbed his head and came to her. He sat beside her and digged his nose on her crook of neck and snuggled in her.
As much as his act was sweet, it was not disturbing at all. He was breathing in her scent while Nandini was hearing Amms. After some 5-7 mins, the call ended. Nandini kept the phone and asked him.
Nan-what's up?
Ma-nothing..........just missing you.
Nan-are you tired.........with all the crowd at home?
Ma-yup kind off.........but it's fun too........like we can enjoy them for a day.
Nandini just bobbed her head and they stayed close for a good moment. Than they came back as it's time to serve lunch. Again the girls served the lunch and lunch scene was very much like the breakfast.
Everybody enjoyed a lot. After lunch everybody decided to rest. So that is why half of them went in the room and half were lazing around, watching tv and stuff. The kids were made to sleep. Nandini to after helping butlers to the maximum, came in the room to find Manik sitting on the bed in a comfortable position.
Getting rid of her heels once again, she too laid down half like Manik. She asked Manik as he was busy in his phone.
Nan-don't you want to sleep?
On hearing her, Manik looked at her, then he closed his phone and kept it away and then said after thinking.
Ma-don't know.........at this moment i am not sleepy.
Nan-are you not tired with this whole week work.........sunday are your holidays........ though we are enjoying this but a nap is needed.
After she said this, Manik reduced the distance btwn them and said.
Ma-forget that.
