Falling for Your Boss (Edgeworth x Assistant! reader)

"Miss Wright will you be accompanying me to my next trial?" Mr Edgeworth asked me.
"Yes sir Mr. Edgeworth Sir!" I replied.

We left the office and made our way to the courthouse.

Time Skip
"The court will now come to order for the trial of Crystal Skies. Is the Prosecution ready?"

"The prosecution is ready, Your Honour." Mr Edgeworth replied.

"Is the defence ready?"

"The defence is ready, Your Honour." Nick said.

"Mr Edgeworth, your opening statement."
" This is an open-and-shut case. The defendant, Crystal Skies, murdered her sister in cold blood, and there is evidence and an eyewitness to corroborate this. There is no room for doubt. The prosecution would now like to call its first witness: the detective who first arrived at the scene."

Time Skip
"I will now bring down the verdict on the defendant miss Crystal Skies."

GUILTY

"Well done Mr Edgeworth! You managed to defeat my brother finally! And I think it's the right time to do this."
I grabbed his suit jacket, pulled him into me and kissed him. I let go and then ran out of the courtroom and back to Mr Edgeworth's office.

I was sitting at my makeshift desk typing on my laptop when I was startled.
"Miss Wright! Come here." It was Mr Edgeworth. I was so concentrated on my work that I didn't even notice he came in.

I stood up and walked over to his desk.

He is going to fire me I know he is. I should not have done that! Especially right in the middle of a courtroom!!

"Yes Mr Edgrworth sir."
He stood up and walked round his desk to where I was standing. I was staring at the ground trying to avoid eye contact. He lifted my chin to force me to look at him. The next thing I knew I had his lips on mine.

My boss is kissing me!! What the heck!

When he pulled away I asked "how long have you wanted to do that for?"
"Well....all I will say is that I was waiting for the right time."
