Starting Anew (Apollo x Reader)

I just finished watching a Spirit of Justice playthrough and the ending got me so I decided to make an oneshot about it. SPOILERS FOR THE SOJ ENDING! (OBVIOUSLY)

"Apollo, I-I refuse your request."

"What?! Why? Dhurke, he was your father, you should have this. I know you're a prosecutor but, still."

I put a hand on his shoulder, "Apollo, if he doesn't want to take it, you can't force him. You should know that."

"Apollo, I-I want to show you something."

"What, Nahyuta?"

"Mr Wright, will you and the rest of your company come as well?"

"Of course, Prosecutor Sahdmadhi. If you want us to come we will."

We all followed him to where he wanted to show us and let's just say we were all confused. Why are we here?

"Nahyuta, why are we here?"

"I have something to ask you, Apollo."

"What is it?"

"I-I want you to stay here in Khura'in. With you as a defence attorney and me as a prosecutor, we can restore Khura'in's legal system to what it was before."

"I-I don't know what to say. Nahyuta, if I stay then I'll be leaving the agency and I-I don't know."

"Apollo."

"Yes, Mr Wright?"

"If you want to stay, do. There will always be a place in the agency for you if you return to the US."

"Yeah, it would be hard without you, Polly, but we'll get through it!" Trucy piped up.

"A-Apollo, I still have so much I wanted to learn from you, but if you decide to stay, I will respect your opinion and decision!" Athena squealed.

"Y-yeah. I-I guess I agree with Trucy and Athena. Apollo, if you want to stay, you can. I will hold nothing against you," I spoke, trying to hide my sadness. I would be more upset than Trucy or Athena if Apollo stayed in Khura'in due to the fact that I'd developed a crush on him. Unfortunately, I didn't hide it well enough.

"(Y/n), are you ok? You see more down than me or Trucy," Athena asked.

"I-I'm fine, Athena. Apollo, if you want to stay it's fine by me!"

"Liar," I heard Athena mumble under her breath. I am going to murder you myself if you so even hint at it, Athena.

"Our flight leaves tomorrow morning, do you think you can make up your mind by then, Apollo?"

"I'll think about it."

"Huh? Where's Apollo? I'd have thought he'd come to say bye at least if he's staying."

"Yeah, I miss him already, it's already quieter without him here."

"(Y/n), how are you holding up?"

"I'm fine, Athena. Nothing to worry about with me!" I spoke laughing nervously.

"(Y/n), why do I see a Psyche-Lock?!"

Shit! I forgot about that! There's no hiding anything from anyone in the agency is there? Well, apart from Trucy, but she can still figure out if I'm lying. Athena has her hearing and Mr Wright has that stupid Magatama.
