My Savoir (Clay x Bullied! Reader)

I was never one to have friends at school apart from Apollo and Clay. But being that close with people has it's consequences, I slowly started to fall in love with Clay.

I was walking through the halls of the main school building alone as Apollo and Clay were in a different class and they hadn't been let out yet plus I needed to get to PE before the school bullies got to me. They really liked picking on me for some reason. Great, I'm too late.

"Hey, space nerd! What you doing. You know you're wasting your time learning about space it's completely endless!"

"You do realise you just made a smart comment, don't you?" I replied. That made the really angry. They pushed me to the ground and started kicking me and punching me. It probably would have got to the point where I would have needed a hospital if it wasn't for a certain other space lover, "That's enough!" He shouted, "You shouldn't pick on her! She's done absolutely nothing to deserve it! So stop!"

"Yeah? what are you going to do about it nerd?" The lead bully asked him.

"This," Clay replied before whistling. Apollo came round the corner with the headmaster of the school, "You lot. My office now. Clay, Apollo take (Y/n) to the nurses office to check her out and if it's ok bring her to my office afterwards."

"Yes sir!" They both replied before rushing over to me, "(Y/n) are you ok?"

"Does she look ok, Apollo? She's been kicked and punched into oblivion! Of course she's not ok."

"Let's just get her to the nurse, come on (Y/n)." They tried to get me to stand up with little success as I had passed out and was now out cold.

I woke up in the nurses office with Clay and Apollo next to me, "Clay can I talk to you please? Alone." Apollo got the message and left, "I just wanted to say thank you. If you hadn't intervened then I would have needed a hospital."

"It's what you do for someone you care about."

There we go friendzoned again.

"Clay, I'm incredibly sorry for what I'm about to do, and I hope we can still be friends afterwards." I grabbed his uniform and pulled him into be before kissing him. I let go and tried to escape the office but I was pulled back by him grabbing my arm, "(Y/n), I like you too, a lot." He kissed me again before we heard voices talking, "Well it worked, thanks guys." It was Apollo. We left the office to see Apollo talking to the very same people who beat me up, "Apollo, why are you talking to them? and why are you paying them?"

"You're going to hate me for this but, this was a part of the plan to get you two to confess."

"So you paid them to beat me up just so Clay could save me, with a 3 percent chance of a confession coming out of it?!" I shouted.

"It was my idea, (Y/n)," Clay spoke up, "I'm sorry. I didn't think they would go that far. They were only supposed to steal your glasses and make you drop your books, not punch you into the stars."

"It's ok Clay. I still love you. and I still will."
