"Hey, (Y/n)! (Y/n)! (Y/n)!"

"For the love of God. What is it Apollo?" I asked looking up for the paperwork I was doing.

"I was wondering whether you'd teach me some Filipino."

"Why?"

"Well, Gavin will just tease me and Athena will make false assumptions."

"Very well. Bring a chair. We start now," I spoke, putting the paperwork in a draw. I looked back to Apollo, who now had a smile on his face. I looked at him with an expectant face, "Are you going to get that chair or not, Apollo?"

"Right!" he shouted running off to get a chair. And I wonder every day why I fell in love with you. He came back a few minutes later with a chair and put it on the floor before sitting on it, "I'm ready!"

"So, you're not 'fine' any more then?"

"No, I'm still fine! I'm just ready as well!"

I giggled and ruffled his hair, "I'm kidding with you, Apollo. I know you're always fine."

"Can you just teach me?"

"Ok, what do you want to know?"

"How do you say 'Hello'? Start off easy."

"That's an easy one; 'Kamusta'."

I saw he had brought a pad of paper with him and he wrote it down, "How do I spell that?" I told him how to spell it and he wrote it down. This carried on for a while. That two hours while Mr Wright and Athena were out investigating, went by quickly, then it turned into days when I'd be teaching Apollo, which turned into weeks. I had noticed he'd started to look at me at times when I was teaching him but I just put it to the back of my mind, thinking it was because he really wanted to learn and was very enthusiastic about it.

---------

"(Y/n)! Can I have my daily lesson please?!"

"What do you want me to translate for you today, Apollo?" I asked.

"How do you say, 'I love potatoes'?"

"That's an odd one, Apollo. Mahilig ako sa patatas."

He gave me a whole load of things to translate including 'I love you.' I was confused about why he wanted to know that but I just ignored it. Once he was satisfied he ran off and I went for a walk to clear my head.

--------------

When I returned, I noticed a note on my desk. I was confused and surprised about why whoever wrote it didn't just tell me in person but that went away when I read the note;

"(Y/n)!

Meet me at the park. 8pm tonight.

Anonymous..."

(I just thought of 'The Rite of Turnabout' then... and one of the witnesses... A'nohn Ihmus (TBD))

I read over the letter again and again, trying to work out who it was. I eventually did and just shook my head. You could have just told me. I decided to go anyway, knowing who it was, as I wanted to know what they wanted to talk to me about.

-----------

The end of the day came and I was the last one in the agency, leaving me to lock up and switch the lights off. I walked out the agency and to the park, like the letter had said. I ran there due to it being 7:50 already. When I arrived, I saw Apollo sitting on a bench, "Apollo? Why didn't you just tell me you wanted to meet me here?"

"How did you know it was me?"

"Handwriting. Athena always puts little hearts over the top of an 'i', Trucy only writes in light blue ink and the letter was in black ink and Mr Wright has unreadable handwriting. So, I worked out it was you. Now what did you want to talk about?"

"Mahal kita!" he blurted out. I was taken aback by this. That's why he wanted to learn. I started crying out of happiness and Apollo noticed it, "(Y/n), why are you crying? I know you don't like me back! It's fine though-!" he stopped talking when I looked at him, a smile on my face.

"Mahal rin kita," I spoke, "Apollo, you didn't need to learn how to say it in Filipino, you could have just told me in English."

"I wanted to make it special, just for you." I smiled more, wiping away my tears and pecked him on the cheek, "This is why I fell in love with you, Apollo," I whispered in his ear before kissing him on the lips. His face went the same colour as his waistcoat and I giggled when we broke off.

"I-I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too, Apollo. Now, what were the potatoes about?"

"I don't know! I meant to ask how to say 'I love you' but 'potatoes' came out my mouth," he replied rubbing his spikes in embarrassment. I burst out laughing, "Really?! That's the second-best thing that's happened today!"

"What's the first?"

"This," I answered, leaning in and kissing him again.
