This randomly came to me... I can't remember what I was doing when I thought of this but here we are... Spoilers for Dual Destinies! Specifically Turnabout for Tomorrow!

---------------------------------- PHOENIX'S POV

"I trust you've been well, Wright."

"Edgeworth?"

"Wright."

"What brings you here?"

"The case. I'll be prosecuting it. That's why I'm here."

"Wow, Miss Blackquill went right to the top didn't she?"

"Wright, this is not the time for flattery."

"Right, sorry. We need to focus on ending the'Dark Age Of The Law' right? That's what you told me."

"Yes, but that's not the only reason I wanted you to free PRosecutor Blackquill."

"What's the other reason, Edgeworth?"

"(Y/n)."

"What has (Y/n) got to do with this?"

"Dispite how farfetched it may seem, (Y/n), does actually have ties to the UR-1 incident, in the form of Prosecutor Blackquill himself."

"what do you mean by that?"

"I mean that before the incident, they'd been going out with each other. It was the happiest I've ever seen (Y/n), since DL-6. But, after the UR-1 incident occurred, (Y/n) completely changed. She went from being one of the only prosecutors to actually care about the truth rather than just a guilty verdict to just like me after our first reunion. I know she's my sister but it doesn't fit her. That's why. And this past month, she won't talk to anyone except witness for trials and during trials. She comes in everyday and doesn't leave her office, bar from trials and investigations and I think I know why; Prosecutor Blackquill's execution date is tomorrow and she's taking it badly."

"Don't worry Edgeworth, I'll try my best to free both Blackquill and Athena."

"I know you will, Wright."

————————EDGEWORTH'S POV

"(Y/n), please come out. I need to show you something."

"No! I know all you're going to show me is Simon's execution paper! I don't need that right now!" she replied through the closed door.

"(Y/n), that's not what I was going to show you. It's good I promise."

"Truthfully?" she asked opening the door. I noticed her cheeks were stained with tears and her eyes were redd and puffy.

"Truthfully, (Y/n). You'll want to see this."

"Ok, but if I don't like it, I will never forgive you."

"That's fair. But that won't be happening," I replied putting my hands over her eyes and leading her downstairs.

YOUR POV

"Miles, where are we going?" 

"It doesn't matter where, what's waiting for you is the important thing," he replied before stopping, "and here," he finished, removing his hands from my eyes. I gasped before turning back to him, "Is this for real?"

He nodded and I felt tears prick my eyes, before I ran up and hugged Simon, "I missed you!" I squealed kissing him.

"I missed you, too, (Y/n)."

I released the hug and ran back up to Miles hugging him, "Thank you!"

"It's not me you should be thanking, it's Wright."

I turned back to Simon and kissed him again. This time, when we broke off, I noticed Simon look to Miles, and gaining a nod in return.

"Am I missing something?"

"(Y/n), I was going to ask you this ages ago but, thing happened so," he stopped talking when Taka flew off his shoulder and grabbed something from his pocket. He then flew over to me and dropped something in my hands, before flying back onto Simon's shoulder. I looked down to see that Taka had dropped a small box in my hand, "Simon what's this?"

"Just open it."

I opened the box with a sceptical look on my face. When I saw what was inside I gasped, "Yes! Of course!" I squealed running up to him and kissing him passionately. He took the box from my hand and placed the ring on my finger.
