CHRISTMAS!! (Apollo x Reader)

Christmas is by far my favourite holiday for many reasons:

1. Giving presents to friends & family makes me feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside

2. Christmas food is amazing!

3. It's a time to spend time with friend and family without worrying about anything

4. Decorations!!!!!!!

Anyway, there is one Christmas that will always stick with me....

I had been sitting in the Agency doing some paper work when I felt pressure on me head. I looked up and noticed my boyfriend, Apollo, there.

"Apollo, you should be working."

"Come on (Y/n), it's nearly Christmas!"

"And why do you think I'm stressing?"

"Why are you stressing? It's Christmas, you should be relaxing!"

"Because, I still need to buy presents!"

I gave up arguing with him and kissed him to shut him up, "Now can I please get back to panicking?"

I stood up and left the agency with my list of things to buy for everyone:

Mr Wright: Hair gel and a new tie (Seriously he wears the same one everyday!)

Athena: A new hair bow and a necklace

Maya: A years supply of Burgers!

Apollo: Hair gel, a toy version of his cat and a painting I made of him and me. (Mikiko (Tell me if I spelt it wrong please))

Trucy: Magic supplies

I rushed to all the necessary stores and then went home to wrap everything. While I was at the jewelry store getting a necklace for Athena I heard a voice that I recognised but I just put it to the back of my mind thinking I was going crazy.

APOLLO'S POV-JUST AFTER YOU LEFT

"Right, she's gone. I need all of you to help. How am I supposed to do this?" I was stressing out. I wanted to propose to (Y/n) as her Christmas present. My plan was to give her something and then after all the presents had been opened I would surprise her. I just had to distract (Y/n) long enough for me to get the ring.

I asked Trucy to come with me while Athena went to distract (Y/n) and keep her away from the jewelry store. Unfortunately it didn't work like that because I noticed (Y/n) at the jewelry store anyway!

I was finally Christmas day! The Agency had been decorated, mainly by Maya and Athena, and we were all sitting round opening presents, which Trucy was in charge of. We had finally got to the end, almost, all that was left was the painting I did for Apollo. I was so nervous on whether he would like it or not. I picked it up and handed it to him, "Apollo, this is for you." He unwrapped it and had a massive smile on his face when he saw it, "I love it! You painted this?" I nodded and he surprised me by giving me a peck on the cheek which ended it being bright red and Trucy and Athena fan-girling.

"Time for food!" I shouted standing up before being pulled down again.

"Actually there is one more gift," Apollo stated. I looked at him confused but he just took his hands in mine, "(Y/n), I love you more than anything in the world and I have felt that way since I met you, but what I'm wondering if you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me," He said getting down on one knee and pulling out a ring, "(Y/n) (L/n) will you marry me?" I looked shocked for a moment then burst out laughing.

After seeing everyone's confused faced I composed myself, "I'm sorry, but I was literally just about to ask you the exact same question," I said pulling out a ring from my pocket.

"I take it that means yes then?" he asked.

"OF COURSE!" I shouted running up to him and kissing him passionately before breaking apart and placed the ring I bought on his finger and him doing the same to me.
