"Heya Nick! How are you doing?!"

"Hi (Y/n), I'm good, you?"

"I'm good as well. Come on, we better go and find Larry. He's probably skipping class again."

"Yeah, probably. Knowing Larry."

I grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the roof where we found Larry, "Hey Larry! Once again you're skipping class."

"Hey Nick! (Y/n)!"

"Hey! (Y/n), I want to introduce you to someone!"

"Oh, Nick. Who is this?" I asked motioning to the girl standing next to him.

"Oh this is who I wanted to introduce you too. (Y/n) this is my girlfriend Dollie."

"Oh, good for you, Nick," I replied trying to contain my tears. I had only seen Phoenix as a brother in Middle School, but when we got to university, I realised I had actually fallen in love with him. "Congratulations," I continued before walking off. It's probably just me but, there's something off about that girl that I don't trust.

The next day, I didn't see Phoenix at all but when I was listening to the radio during lunch, I was surprised by what I heard on the news; "University student, Phoenix Wright arrested for murder."

I was shocked by this. But I knew what I needed to do;

Y - Mia, can I get you to do a huge favour for me?

M - Depends on what it is, (Y/n).

Y - Oh yeah, I need you to defend a friend for me. He got arrested for murder and I need you to defend him. Please! I'm begging you!

M - Ok, what's his name? I'll go and talk to him.

Y - Thank you so much! I know Phoenix would never murder anyone. That's his name, Phoenix Wright.

M - Ok, I'll go talk to him.

Y - Thank you so much! I know you'll free him!

After I called Mia, I went to bed, happy that Phoenix was in great hands.

The next day I decided to watch Phoenix's trial so, I walked to the courthouse and sat in the gallery. Please save him, Mia.

"This court finds the defendant... NOT GUILTY!"

I was glad. I walked out the gallery and to the defendant lobby to see Phoenix talking to Mia.

"I can't believe she was using me! I actually fell for her! The Dollie I know could NEVER have said those kinds of terrible things... Maybe... Maybe she was like... I don't know... A fake or something. You know, I'm going to become a lawyer. After seeing you do everything you did to save me, made me want to do the same for others." 

"Nick!" I shouted running up to the two, "I'm so glad you're ok! I knew you wouldn't kill anyone! That's why I'm glad I asked Mia to defend you!"

"You did what?"

"I asked Mia to defend you, knowing you didn't kill anyone."

"You did?! Thank you!" he spoke hugging me and breaking down.

"Thank you, Mia. Nick, did you really mean it when you said you wanted to become a lawyer?"

"Yeah, I did. I want to save people who have been wrongly accused!"

I was happy about this. I had been studying Law myself since the start of university, meaning I would get to spend more time with him.

-------------Time skip to Turnabout Samurai

"Nick! (Y/n)! Come on we need to go investigate!"

"Yeah, we probably should. It might turn up some new leads," I replied. Maya grabbed both of us and dragged us out of the Office. She dragged up the whole was to Global Studios. 

"Maya, you can let us go now," Nick said.

"Oh sorry!" she replied and let us go. We both rubbed the wrist Maya had grabbed because she had an incredibly strong grip, "Geez, Maya. You have a very strong grip."

"Sorry!"

The next day, we were in the office when Maya wanted Nick to get her burgers.

"Maya! You don't need any more burgers!"

"Nick, just do what Maya says, we don't want her getting more annoyed."

"Fine," he replied walking out the office. I turned back round to see Maya right in front of me, "Geez Maya! You scared me!"

"So, what's the deal with you and Nick?"

"Maya, what do you mean?"

"I mean you were acting like a couple all throughout the investigation! There's got to be something going on!"

"Maya there's nothing going on. We're just friends who knew each other from Middle School! Nothing more!"

"Sure."

"Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to the ice rink. Don't tell Nick where I am, okay," I spoke standing up and grabbing my skates before walking out the office.

"Got it!"

------------------PHOENIX'S POV

I arrived back at the office to only see Maya, "Hey, Maya. Where did (Y/n) go?"

"Ice rink."

Well, that was easy.

I left the office and went to the ice rink. I had something important to tell (Y/n).

YOUR POV - 20 minutes earlier

I arrived at the rink to see a few people there. I didn't let it bother me though and put my skates on. Getting on the ice, I let all my emotions out, not caring about what other people thought. 

When I finished my ending pose, I looked up to see Phoenix at the entrance, a flustered look on his face. I felt my face heat up and I skated over to him, "Hi! Wait, how did you know I was here?!"

"Maya told me."

"Oh. Wait Maya!"

"Yes."

Curse you Maya! You said you wouldn't tell him!

"I'm sorry I dragged you all the way here, Nick. I just.."

"(Y/n) it's fine. I actually wanted to talk to you."

"ThereasonIcameherewasbecauseIjustneededtoletoutallthebottledupfeelingsI'vehadforyousinceuniversity!" I spoke quickly. My face lit up red when I realised what I said. I looked up to see his face all flustered, "I'm just going to go now," I said walking off. I didn't get very far as he grabbed my wrist, "Nick what are you-" I was cut off when he pulled me into him and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and I felt his holding my hips. I smiled into the kiss and tangled my hands in his spiky hair, messing it up. We broke off due to lack of oxygen, "I love you, (Y/n)."

"I-I love you too, Nick."
