Hospitalised Confessions (Apollo x Reader)

I was sitting in the agency waiting for Apollo and Athena to get back from the trial when Athena burst in alone. I shot up immediately when I realised Apollo wasn't with her, "Thena, where's Apollo?!"

"He got caught in an explosion and then he got assaulted. He's at the hospital right now."

"What?! Really?" she nodded and I dashed to the door before turning back, "Thena if Mr Wright comes back and asks where I am, please can you tell him I'm at the hospital with Apollo?"

"Sure thing! We might pop down then Mr Wright and Trucy get back!"

"Thank you!" I shouted running out the agency and to the hospital. I walked up to the reception desk, out of breath, "Which room is Apollo Justice in?"

"Room 107 down that hall and to your left, but he's not awake yet. He took quite the blow to the head and with the bombing," the receptionist replied. I thanked her and ran off to Apollo's room. I knocked on the door and heard a, "Come in." I walked in to see Apollo lying asleep on the bed and the doctor writing something down on a pad. "Will he be ok, doctor?"

"Yes, he should make a full recovery. If you don't mind my asking; What's your relation to him?"

I felt my face heat up slightly before speaking, "I'm just a really close friend. I hope that means I can still stay with him for a while."

"It's fine. You're the only one here so I see no problem," the doctor spoke before leaving the room. I approached Apollo and sat down on the chair beside his bed, "I'm sorry Apollo. You don't deserve this, especially with Clay. I wish it was me that got caught in that explosion," I spoke softly crying and leaning my head on his bed. I took his bandaged hand in mine and rubbed it with my thumb soon falling asleep.

I was woken up by someone patting me on the head. I opened my eyes to see Apollo, a smile on his face, "I'm so glad you're ok!" I spoke hugging him gently so I didn't cause him any more injuries.

"(Y/n), first of all, none of this was your fault and no it shouldn't have been you. Don't ever say that. You should wish pain upon yourself."

"But I don't like seeing you hurt. It breaks me inside," I replied starting to cry more.

"Why would that be?" he asked, a smirk appearing on his face.

"Umm... I guess it's because.." Oh, fuck it! I leaned down over him and kissed him, full on the lips. I saw his face light up bright red and his eyes widen. I broke off, shyly, "I'm sorry, I should have known you don't like me like that."

"Who ever said that? You didn't give me a chance to react," he answered pulling me down on him again and kissing me, wrapping his arms round my waist. It was my turn to be shocked but I soon melted into it, my arms wrapping round his neck, being careful not to hurt him any more.

"(Y/n)! The doctor told us you were in-Oh my, Trucy cover your eyes!" We broke off at the sound of Athena's voice both our faces bright red, "Really? You're alone with Apollo for fifteen minutes and this is what happens!"

"Athena, I recommend you leave right now unless you want to be the one in the hospital," I spoke glaring at her. She got the message and stopped talking.

"Apollo, it's good to see you're awake," Mr Wright spoke.

"Thanks, Mr Wright. I'm glad I'm alive as well," Apollo replied, rubbing the spikes on his head. I giggled pecking him on the cheek, "I'm glad you're alive as well, love you."

"Love you too, (Y/n)."
